This location has a bunch of unprofessional people who have zero interest in customer service.I received the rental and went home, woke up the next day to see the tire on the rear, driver side with 27psi. I went ahead and put air in it. Next day it was back at 27. I called the East Orange location to report the matter and asked if they could switch the car. I was informed that they did not have any vehicle but would give me a call if the status changed. I was also informed to call other locations and see if they had available vehicles because they were not able to call other locations for me. (Raised an eyebrow) I was also informed that I can visit a Firestone location to have it fixed. I went to a Firestone location and was told that the wait would be over two hours.I was already losing hours from work doing all that running around that proved futile.I was being inconvenienced and I told Enterprise, East Orange that, there was no remorse from the agent. I also told them that the tire can blow out and cause an accident and the agent’s response was, OK!This is the lowest and most distasteful thing I’ve ever experienced in my time of renting cars. I wanted do extend my current rental for an additional two to three weeks until my vehicle is fixed but now I am forced to take my business elsewhere. I am paying out of pocket and need the respect where I chose to do business. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION…NEVER!!!! This specific location needs an entire staff revamp!UPDATE!I am at a Pep Boy location and it turns out that the tire is not fixable. I hope Enterprise knows that if something happens while I am driving this vehicle, they will be held responsible, because they were negligent in providing me with a safe vehicle.
August 26 · Deborah WestThe car rental was an excellent experience. I didn't have a problem with that. However, I was supposed to get back $300. And they gave me back $299, and 99 cents. They think a penny doesn't matter? I just really um, I'm disappointed in that whole process. But other than that, the car rental was good. But if you think you're gonna get back your whole $300 B be prepared to be short, a penny, and it's not a big deal. I get it, but it's the principle if you're told you're getting back three hundred.That's what people expect to get back.Don't short change me.Because enterprise, you make a lot of money.
July 30 · Debra LloydI rented from the East Orange office New Jersey. I got a car that they said was like a Milibu,but it wasn't, it was to small. I was at my destination and spoke with the East Orange office explaining that the car was too so it did not have the room of a Chevy Milibu ,they told me to contact the Summerville office in South Carolina and they would put in the notes what the problem was. I went to the office and they were so friendly, they understood what the problem was and got me a milibu no questions asked . I was back on the road within a half hour. The connection between one Enterprise to the other Enterprise was great. When I returned the car to East Orange Danny and Adam apologized for the problem and offer a compromise to make sure I was a happy customer. Thank you Enterprise for being an upright company and taking the time to make sure your customers are happy. I will definitely rent from Enterprise again and tell my friends and family that if they ever want to be treated right and want to be happy renting a car,then rent from Enterprise
September 16 · Liz HayesI wanted to give a 5 star for ADAM!I went to this location today for a midsize suv that was reserved, unfortunately the type of vehicle that was reserved was not available. I was told that there are bigger vehicles available but at an additional cost. Adam, the initial agent that was assisting me was very professional, then another agent proceeded to assist me, he was mean, very disrespectful and had zero regard for his customer's feelings. He spoke to me like I was a child, I had to stop him in his tracks, being rude! He should be removed from dealing with customers and given another position, customer service is key in all businesses.I was having a difficult day after being in a vehicular collision and he made my day even worse.Adam finished assisting me and ensured that I got the vehicle that I wanted and I paid the difference. Kudos to Adam for doing his job well and ensuring customer satisfaction!
