I picked up later afternoon past open hours but was told I had to bring it in by 11 am. Never heard of a rental place with a set time usually drop of time is picked by customer/discussed with customer.tried to add more days he wanted me to do another deposit plus the days. The man is janky. THEN HE WONT GIVE ME MY DEPOSIT BACK. I’ve texted and texted no response. I I could do negative stars I would. Last place with a car during Labor Day weekend that’s the ONLY reason I even went. I Would. EVER recommend anyone here unless you’re deperate and this is the only option. Just go to major company less headache better cars !!
September 10 · Erica WallaceI’m sorry to have to make this review but he gave me a car with no antifreeze and was overheating within 2 mins . I put antifreeze in the car July 5 .. by the next day the car was undriveable to the point where i just had to return it and he was supposed to give me back my Deposit, rate and insurance and the price of two antifreeze. I don’t think he’s a bad person but waiting a week on my money and i still have received it back so the car being bad and my money in limbo i had to file a dispute with my bank to make sure i get my money back
July 13 · Chanice HiltonThe first car that we were put in smelled of cigarettes and we barely got to the highway that the car started to over heat and we had to go back. The second was a Dodge van and the inside was filthy and the whole van and steering wheel shook if you went over 50 mph. My son tried to take the van back early Monday morning but the owner said he could not even though we continued to tell him that I was at work and would not get off before 3 pm and could not afford to pay extra. He said my son can’t bring it and rudely told me bring it whenever. DID NOT tell me they were going to charge me out of my deposit. We were desperate that day to go three hours to have my sons daughters birth so we didn’t have time to be picky. If I had more time I would have gone anywhere but here. After they get your money they are rude, the cars are junk and overpriced and then they take your money you are expecting refunded.
June 05 · Dawn WilsonDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The owner of this company is so unprofessional. He doesn't know how to talk to customers at all. I rented a car from him, and the agree upon time to bring it back was at 11 am. I called him to let him know it'll be late and can I get it for another day. Which, by the way, he'll charge you for the next day even if you don't have it for 24 hours. He starts yelling and screaming at me that if I don't bring it back that he would call the police because my card that I had on file couldn't be used. Mind you, the deposit that I made would cover that extra date and some. But never the less, he wanted it back right then and there, so I went to clean and put gas in the car. And he's blowing me up continuously about the car not on its way back. I'm trying to explain to him what I was doing. He did not care he just kept on screaming and treating me. I bring it back he acts all nice to my face, and again, I explained what I was doing and that I tried to tell him to take it from my deposit like MOST rental companies do. But he told me they don't do that, but proceeded to do so anyway. Before I leave, he tells me i will get what is left out of my deposit. When I got my part of the deposit back, I noticed that he charged me for another full day when I was MADE to give it back before that day was up. I called to ask him why I got charged for a full day when I was made to give it back before that day was up. He again proceeds to now belligerent screaming and yelling at me and says that I kept it past the agreed upon time. I tried to tell him I understood that, but since you MADE me return it BEFORE that day was up that he should've just charged me for at least half of the day. All he wanted to do was scream and hang up and then block my number. I call him back on a different number to try to get answers out of him, but again, he yells and hangs up on me again. Very unprofessional, poor customer care!!!
March 20 · Rebecca VillaA place to rent if you need last minute but please listen to the reviews and make your decision going forward . I was charged $425 for the actual rental and $200 deposit . The guy working there instills it's $425 upfront and then they refund your "deposit " money after your return . $625 to rent a car for a WEEKEND .Then keep in mind they have no auto insurance they offer so you are using your OWN personal policy . I didn't even realize they charged me for Monday until the night before even when it was specified I only needed it until Sunday but if they're closed I have no control over their business hours so I digress . But a few things to keep in mind the cars they give you are not all in GOOD condition. I rented a Kia forte which is stereotypically a dependable car , but this Kia forte with came with a cracked windshield ( whom they didn't tell me they were aware of the damage until they took payment FIRST Red flag ) . Then getting in the car turns out daytime lights running low which turned into a whole left headlight out which is not good if you have to drive at night . It doesn't even seem there was an oil change within allotted time frame from the last service sticker they had .You return their car follow all their rules . I returned my car 12/1 and have YET to receive back my does or I've called twice and gotten the run around first time it was their was a "glitch" in their system with deposits and to expect Monday which would've been today 12/9 I call back about it and he says I'll look into it and hurry's up and hangs up the phone so I've gotten the feeling he is not giving it back . I will take this as lesson but yes be careful doing your business with them .
