The car I was given had three out of four tires that were severely worn and nearly bald. While driving in the rain on my way from Columbus to Chicago, I hydroplaned twice next to semi-trucks, which made me seriously consider pulling over. Ultimately, I only managed to make it to Dayton, Ohio, where the back right tire blew out.The customer service throughout this ordeal was exceptionally poor. When I contacted Enterprise roadside assistance, they informed me that I would either need to change the tire myself or be charged for the service. Despite the safety risks, I told them to go ahead and bill me. Thankfully, Triple-A arrived quickly and provided excellent service. The technician confirmed my suspicion that three of the tires were bald and even explained that one tire had a sidewall plug—a repair that should never have been approved, as it endangered not only me but other drivers.Later, I contacted Enterprise customer service when they opened at 8 a.m., but their response was limited to offering me a smaller car than what I originally rented—a Corolla, despite my booking for a full-size car. On previous occasions, Enterprise has also attempted to provide compact vehicles like Corollas despite my full-size reservations. Driving under these conditions, I was forced to go 20 miles per hour under the speed limit on the highway until I reached Dayton International Airport.At Dayton International Airport, I finally experienced better service. The employee there, who was managing both Enterprise and National by himself, was understanding and extremely helpful despite the overwhelming workload. He upgraded me to a brand-new truck, which was the very least that could have been done given the circumstances.Overall, this experience was unacceptable and put lives at risk due to negligence. I am now contemplating contacting my company's travel team to avoid using Enterprise altogether for future bookings. I strongly encourage someone to reach out to discuss this matter further.

Then, once we did get the car, they took their sweet time cleaning it and doing who knows what just talking in the office. Thankfully we were ahead of the 7 people in line still waiting.

Never had an issue with a reservation, and have consistently experienced friendly, professional, and efficient service.I personally find this to be the most convenient location to rent if you’re located downtown, as it is easily accessible by transit / foot and you are 5min away from expressways on-ramps and LSD.A note for those not familiar with this location- it’s nestled in a parking garage and can be confusing to navigate for the first time. Make sure to pay attention to signs on the street (State St and Wabash) for where to enter, and clarify w the staff on how to exit so that you don’t accidentally enter paid parking rather than exiting.
