Enterprise Rent-A-Car Introduce
For residents, businesses, and travelers throughout Bucks County and the greater Philadelphia area, having reliable access to rental vehicles for insurance replacements, weekend trips, or commercial use is essential. Enterprise Rent-A-Car, a widely recognized name in transportation solutions, offers a local branch in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, aiming to meet these diverse needs right in the community. Located conveniently on Lincoln Highway, this particular agency stands out not only as a purveyor of quality rental cars and vans but also for its commitment to inclusive business practices and special service for the military community.
This Fairless Hills location operates as a key player in the "home city" car rental segment, providing personalized service often required for local circumstances, such as needing a vehicle after an accident or for a large family gathering. Notably, this branch proudly identifies as a woman-owned business, demonstrating a commitment to diversity in local enterprise—a fact that may appeal to Pennsylvania users seeking to support diverse ownership in their community. Furthermore, the provision of Active Military Discounts acknowledges and supports the significant military presence in the region, offering tangible value to those who serve.
However, potential customers in the Pennsylvania region should approach this location with a balanced perspective. While Enterprise is known for its expansive fleet and reliable vehicles, some customer reviews for this specific location detail significant issues related to customer service, communication, and vehicle readiness. Reports of booked vehicles being unavailable, a lack of proactive communication, and issues with vehicle cleanliness (specifically smoke odor) highlight an inconsistency in the customer experience. While one customer noted a kind gesture from an assistant manager in waiving a gas fee, these isolated positives do not always outweigh the reported negative experiences regarding empathy and professionalism from other staff and management. For local Pennsylvania users, this means confirming reservations and vehicle requirements in advance is highly recommended to ensure a smooth transaction.
Address: 208 Lincoln Hwy, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, USA.
This branch demonstrates a commitment to accessibility, which is important for serving the entire Pennsylvania community. Key accessibility features include:
- Wheelchair Accessible Entrance: Ensures that all customers can easily enter and exit the building, regardless of mobility needs.
- Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lot: Dedicated, accessible parking spaces are provided, making the arrival and departure process convenient for all patrons.
The Lincoln Highway address places the agency close to both commercial centers and residential areas, making it a truly local solution for transportation needs in the region.
- Diverse Vehicle Fleet: Offering a wide selection of vehicles, including economy cars, full-size sedans, SUVs, and specialized vehicles like minivans and passenger vans, suitable for various purposes from insurance replacement to family road trips.
- Van Rental Agency: Specifically offering vans, which are vital for groups, large families, or small businesses needing cargo or passenger transport. This includes 12 and 15-passenger vans (with specific state restrictions that may apply).
- Payment Flexibility: Accepts all major Credit cards and Debit cards, catering to different payment preferences.
- NFC Mobile Payments: Allows for quick and contactless payment processing, enhancing transactional speed and modern convenience.
- Damage Waiver (DW) Options: Customers can purchase a Damage Waiver at the time of rental to waive or reduce responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle, subject to terms and conditions.
- Refueling Service Options: Provides flexibility for customers to either pre-pay for fuel, have the agency refuel and charge them, or return the vehicle full.
- Personal Effects Coverage (PEC): Offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge to cover loss or damage to personal belongings while in the rental vehicle.
- Cross-Border Travel: Allows travel into Canada for certain vehicle classes, providing convenience for Pennsylvania users traveling north.
- After-Hours Service: Provides a key drop box for renters who need to return the vehicle outside of business hours.
- Active Military Discounts: The agency recognizes and honors active military personnel, veterans, and government employees with special discounted rates, often 5% off base rates for Government Leisure Travel. This is a significant benefit to the military community in Bucks County.
- Woman-Owned Business: This designation appeals to customers who prioritize supporting women in business leadership and diversity in their local economic choices.
- Accepts Debit Cards for Rental: While certain restrictions apply (e.g., age requirements, proof of address), the acceptance of debit cards provides a wider range of payment accessibility compared to companies that only accept credit cards.
- Local Home City Specialist: Enterprise specializes in "home city" rentals (non-airport), which often means closer proximity and more personalized service for local residents needing a car due to mechanical issues or insurance claims.
- Extensive Vehicle Availability: As part of a national network, the branch has access to a wide variety of car types, from compacts for fuel efficiency to large vans for group transport.

The operational convenience provided by multiple payment methods, including the use of NFC mobile payments, and the adherence to high accessibility standards with a Wheelchair Accessible Entrance and Parking, all contribute to a modern, inclusive, and friction-free transaction experience. While the negative customer feedback indicates that service consistency is a genuine concern, the reputation of the Enterprise brand overall, coupled with the local branch's unique features (woman-owned status, military savings, and flexible fleet), means it remains a strong choice, provided customers take the precaution of re-confirming their reservation details before arrival. For customers prioritizing a diverse fleet, easy payment, and military benefits, this location on Lincoln Highway is a well-positioned resource in Bucks County.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Horrible customer service I booked a car at night as that’s what they showed available for a Jeep Wrangler. I get here at 8am and the car is not here the front desk lady advising it’s at their other location. No compassion no empathy just said I would hope the guys get here by 8:30am-8:45am. What type of service is this? She didn’t call she didn’t try to accommodate just shrug her shoulders. I’m literally looking at a black wrangler on the lot. Very unprofessional drove 40 mins for a waste of time. Will never come back to this location again.
September 27 · Natalia JacksonStay far away if you expect assistance. e had to wait for insurance to approve it and I lost time and money at work because of this. I said I can’t wait anymore I’ll have to come back but the smoke odor made me sick. He said let me swap the vehicle again. So I came up as he said he would have it cleaned because it was never done. When I showed up the manager there, I can’t remember his name asked why I was there again. I told him John who is the assistant manager told me to come in cause the vehicle wasn’t cleaned and reeks like smoke. He said well it’ll come back. I said I’m pregnant. I can’t take the smell. He said I’ll do what I can and put a can of something in the vehicle. John came in and swapped the vehicle and waived the gas fees coming back which was very nice but unfortunately the good doesn’t out weigh the bad. Customer service can not be taught, empathy can not be taught and Ava and the manager at the location should not be in customer service. They were so mean, and so heartless and didn’t even care about my situation.
August 22 · Ashley MinnickI had a deeply frustrating experience at this Enterprise location when picking-up an 8 passenger SUV I reserved. What should've been a simple rental turned into a series of problems due to poor communication, unprofessional behavior, and a vehicle that was neither clean nor road-ready.I asked at pickup if they had an 8-passenger van instead of the SUV I reserved. The manager said there was only a 7-passenger van, I checked and confirmed it had captain's chairs in the second row, so I declined it and said I'd proceed with the 8-passenger SUV I reserved. The manager passed me off to a new staff member who didn't seem trained. I asked if the SUV was an 8-passenger - he said yes. After he struggled to back it out of the cramped lot, I checked and saw it was only a 7-passenger. When I told him, he argued with me and acted annoyed, even though I had made it clear from the beginning I needed 8 seats. As we walked back, I pointed out another SUV that clearly had 8 seats, He said it was reserved - I told him that's what I reserved too, and he ignored me. I then overheard him complaining about me to another customer, saying I was being difficult. Totally unprofessional.Eventually, a just returned SUV with 8 seats was resigned to me, and the stuff told the manager it is clean. But it hadn't been cleaned - the outside was dirty, the inside was sticky, and the steering wheel was filthy. I was already an hour behind schedule, so I took it.When I got home, I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning the inside myself. I also discovered low tire pressure: one tire at 30 and two at 32 psi. I had to go out of my way to a tire shop and spend another 30minutes fixing it before we could leave. Later, while driving in the rain, I learned the wipers were in poor condition, barely clearing the windshield. The issue didn't stop there. My rental agreement had the wrong license plate (probably from the first vehicle they tried to assign me and I never received an updated one). I tried calling the office multiple times for days, including Friday (2 hours through out the day) and Saturday (4 hours waiting on the phone 8am-12pm) just to confirm the return / drop off process, and was either looped into automated messages or placed on hold without anyone speaking. No one ever picked up. Today, Monday, two days after I return the car still no call back. I finally reached enterprise corporate, who said the store manager would call me - still waiting for someone to confirm the return. From start to finish, this was a mess. I was given the wrong vehicle, treated disrespectfully, handed an unclean and unsafe SUV, and received no support before, during, or after the rental.Think before you rent here:- Double-check the car condition before you even sign the paper work- Don't expect any help once you leave the lot- Document everythingEnterprise, you seriously need to audit and fix this location (staffing it correctly). It reflects incredibly poorly on your brand that once consider trusted.Update: responding to the "owner" reply below, I already contacted Enterprise Corporate/SC a few times and escalated the issue before I post this review. I have given enough time and opportunities for Enterprise to address but...
August 25 · Henry WongI usually rent from the Lawrenceville NJ location because they are open on Sunday however they were sold out and so was the other closet locations to me so I went with this location.I made the reservation for 9am because thats the earliest time the internet said however, they actually opened at 8am. I was not happy because an 8am pickup is what I needed. I also didn't like that I could drop the truck at the open location on Sunday because technically I only needed it for one day Saturday. I was forced to rent the vehicle for two days. Then when I arrived to pickup the truck I drove myself. I was told that I couldn't park my car on their lot or it would be towed so I had to park it across the highway and return late night to pick it up because it could be towed there too. Then I wasn't happy about the one staff member working. There was like 6 others waiting to be serviced including myself. Although the truck was cleaned and ready to go I did not appreciate all the extras mentioned that came along with the rental. I would not return to this Enterprise Location.
July 29 · LoLoLi LoLoLiNone of the information I made during my online reservation was valid when I went to pick up the car. I was in a difficult situation. This explanation wasn't even made during the reservation process. The online pricing was very low, but when I went to rent, I was told it was twice the price. It was too late to rent a car elsewhere, so I had to pay. I see that your website is unreliable. I feel like I was deceived.I didn't find it appropriate for such a well-known company. This is my first car.
