Enterprise Rent-A-Car Introduce
For residents and visitors of Delaware County and the greater Philadelphia area, Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 436 Baltimore Pike in Springfield, PA, serves as a prominent and convenient resource for local transportation needs. Known primarily for its "home city" approach, this branch specializes in helping Pennsylvanians who need a vehicle when their own is in the shop, require a reliable car for a business trip, or are planning a family vacation or group outing.
This specific Enterprise location stands out not only as a major car rental and van rental agency but also for its distinctive business profile, identifying as women-owned. This commitment to diversity in business leadership adds a unique element to the services provided in the Springfield community. The agency’s fleet is designed to meet a wide variety of demands, ranging from fuel-efficient compact sedans for quick errands to large passenger vans and SUVs suitable for extended family travel or moving large items.
Customer experience is a significant factor at any local branch, and the feedback reveals a high level of appreciation for proactive and helpful staff. For example, customers have praised team members like Aisha Newsome and her colleagues for their exceptional service in finding suitable replacement vehicles under unforeseen circumstances, ensuring customers still get a satisfactory option, such as a well-suited Jeep Wrangler for a long weekend road trip. This dedication to problem-solving and personalized service demonstrates a strong positive aspect of the branch's operations.
However, potential renters should be aware that, as with any high-volume rental operation, occasional challenges can occur, particularly concerning vehicle maintenance and initial reservation availability. One detailed review highlighted significant issues with car readiness, including an overdue oil change and a subsequent mechanical warning light during a road trip. The management's response, while attempting to resolve the situation through vehicle exchange, underscored the need for rigorous, consistent quality control checks to ensure all vehicles leaving the lot are road-safe and fully prepared for the customer’s intended travel, especially for long-distance trips. Customers are advised to carefully inspect their rental and confirm key maintenance indicators, and to proactively communicate any concerns immediately with the branch.
In all, the Springfield Enterprise branch offers a robust local solution for car and van rentals, backed by the extensive network of a national brand and featuring a local team capable of delivering outstanding customer-focused service.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolutely NEVER again. Booked a car that I was told days after the booking wouldn’t be available. Told “oh well sorry”. Called corporate multiple times and promised a call back, never happened. Ultimately call the branch back to be told they magically have a car. I leave with the car, only to make it 45 minutes before the oil light comes on. Oil life in the car reads 0%. I call the branch, they tell me it’s “illegal” to rent and put a car on the road that needs an oil change. I ask her to check, she comes back, asks me for the mileage on the car, then tells me “oops sorry, it turns out it is overdue for an oil change”. I ask her what I need to do and she tells me I can bring it to a Jiffy Lube or Goodyear and have them change it and bill it to enterprise. WHAT!! Now, I dont even like having to have my personal cars oil changed, nevermind a car im paying $800+ to rent. They offer me a vehicle exchange, fine. I have to drive all the way back to the local branch (mind you im leaving for a 7 hour road trip at 4am the next morning). I talk to the manager of the local branch about how disappointed I am, his response “well I didn’t know the car needed an oil change, SORRY”. If it isnt Enterprise’s job to check these things, whose is it?I get a new car. Leave, make the road trip in that car down to North Carolina only to have the check engine light come on and the car go haywire on me. I ended up having to use linkedin to get a hold of anyone higher up in Enterprise. After multiple attempts I get a hold of someone who connects me to the regional/district manager. Multiple conversations, multiple broken promises, roadside was supposed to call me to ensure the cars check engine light was nothing that would prevent my 7 hour road trip back home after vacation from being a safe one (with kids in the car mind you). Roadside never called me. I was told to call the local enterprise there but they might not have the same size car for me to get home in. (So should I leave half of my stuff in North Carolina?)I paid a lot of money to ultimately do A LOT OF WORK that should have been done by Enterprise. This company DOES NOT CARE about its customer. Its putting unsafe cars on the road, providing irresponsible customer service, and doesnt deserve a dollar of anyone’s money. They sure will never get another dollar of mine.
September 06 · Cassandra MillerOK, So where shall I start.... I have been a long time customer of enterprise. For these past years I only thought I could get good quality cars and service from the Airport location but I will say boy was I wrong! From the time that I arrived for my Appointment Aisha Newsome was GREAT! even though I didn't get the car I wanted due to unforeseen circumstances, Aisha and her team got to work with finding a suitable replacement for my needs. I mean she was amazing. I ended up taking a 2024 Jeep wrangler. which to my skepticism was a really amazing ride. Aisha recommended the Jeep because it was great on gas and gave me plenty of space for the long drive I had planned that weekend. She really led her team well. Even with the car I originally selected being out of commission Aisha never missed a beat. Aisha and her team really gave me a memorable experience.thank you very much! I definitely look forward to doing more business soon....To Aisha and her team, you guys crushed it!
September 18 · Cameron WeaverMy favorite car rental location. Good staff, they do not pressure me to buy stuff that I don't want. Cashed in some of my points and got two free day's on rental.
October 02 · Greg SlomianaI use this location more than any other and this not the closest to my house. Better customer service and they always have what I want.
September 14 · LIP FU5KaDU5KI had a great experience with this Enterprise location as part of an insurance claim/repair. They met me at the body shop so I didn't have to worry about getting to them and then allowed me to leave the rental at the body shop once my car was ready and they would pick up. My time inside the office to complete paperwork was minimal and the car was clean and appropriate to my needs. I would highly recommend!
