Enterprise Rent-A-Car Introduce
When you’re planning a weekend getaway from the Triad, need a reliable vehicle while yours is in the shop, or require a spacious van for a group outing across North Carolina, Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Battleground Avenue in Greensboro is a local resource to consider. Operating as both a comprehensive Car rental agency and a dedicated Van rental agency, this branch aims to serve the diverse personal and business transportation needs of the Greensboro community and surrounding areas.
This particular branch of Enterprise Rent-A-Car is proud to Identify as women-owned, adding a unique distinction within the larger corporate framework. They offer a flexible vehicle fleet, ranging from compact economy cars perfect for navigating city traffic to full-sized minivans and 15-passenger vans suitable for large families or church and school groups traveling the East Coast. Recognizing the importance of service, the branch strives to make the rental process as seamless and straightforward as possible, from reservation to drop-off.
Customer experiences with the Battleground Avenue location can be varied, which is important for North Carolina residents to consider when making a booking. Some customers consistently report excellent service, pristine vehicles, and a professional, friendly staff who handle the rental process efficiently and clearly. One satisfied renter noted, "Each time, the service is professional and friendly, and the employees make it very easy to understand the process and rental agreements... The 3 cars I've rented have always been pristine, clean, and mechanically sound." This perspective highlights the positive experience of direct, open communication and reliable vehicles.
However, potential renters should also be aware of reports detailing significant issues, especially concerning emergency situations and vehicle preparedness, such as the widely reported policy regarding the absence of spare tires or tire repair kits in some vehicles. A highly critical review shared a distressing experience of being stranded with a flat tire and struggling to obtain timely and coordinated roadside assistance, noting a lack of communication across different Enterprise locations. This suggests that while daily service can be excellent, North Carolina renters should confirm vehicle safety equipment and emergency protocol knowledge before driving off the lot to ensure "peace of mind."
Overall, the Greensboro Battleground Avenue Enterprise remains a staple for many local renters due to its convenience, diverse fleet, and commitment to certain professional standards.

Choosing Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 2605 Battleground Ave in Greensboro is worthwhile for North Carolina users who prioritize variety, payment flexibility, and specific discounts. The core strengths are the expansive fleet—especially the availability of passenger and cargo vans—and the accommodating payment policy that allows for the use of Debit cards, which is crucial for many local renters and a feature not universally offered by rental agencies. Additionally, the availability of Active military discounts provides valuable savings for members of our armed forces community.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Horrible experience. They DO NOT prioritize SAFETY at all. When we inspected the vehicle, we asked for a spare tire and or a tire repair kit and Taylor said none of their vehicles have them. Not even 45 minutes into our trip, the left front tire popped and went completely flat within 2 minutes. My husband and I, along with our 3 young children and dog were stranded on the side of the highway with cars driving past us at 70+ mph.We had to call the roadside assistance number which was another horrible experience. They told us they would bring us a car and have the other car towed back to Greensboro but then HOURS later we get a tow truck driver with no car and he was told to take us to the enterprise at the airport. We called enterprise again to confirm there was a vehicle there for us at the airport and they said they will make a ticket for the manager to call us back. We get to the airport and they had no clue we were coming and told us they were unable to help and that we would need to go to the enterprise on Battleground. We called the Battleground location and they had us on hold for over an hour and got us no solution. We ended up leaving the vehicle at the airport and rented from another car rental place. On top of that, the car was most definitely not cleaned or sanitized like their hold machine says they do.This company does not communicate or work with other enterprises so just know that if you have an emergency, they do not care about your safety and will not care to help you. Take your business elsewhere if you want to rent with peace of mind. Also know that National and Alamo are all the same company with horrible service. And to include, the people working there have no knowledge of the vehicles they have. We asked for the spare tire and Taylor told us it was “under the car somewhere”. We asked her to point to it and the vehicle didn’t have it. Just make sure you look out for yourself because these representatives won’t.
December 27 · Gina SmithI love Enterprise! I have used their service at the Battleground location 3 times; once in 2017 for a trip to Missouri (Hyundai Sonata) in 2018 after a minor accident (Jeep Patriot), and last week for another Missouri trip (Toyota Corolla). Each time, the service is professional and friendly, and the employees make it very easy to understand the process and rental agreements. I would like to say how they handle problems/issues, but I've never had any happen! It definitely speaks to the way they conduct business and proactively accommodate their clients.I very much respect their direct and open communication, and the fact that of the 3 cars I've rented have always been pristine, clean, and mechanically sound.Even in this world of greedy inflation, Enterprise is also quite affordable and makes sure you start with a 3/4 tank of gas.I definitely recommend Enterprise for your car rental needs, I know I'll be back...thanks again, Enterprise!
October 25 · C4ExploreMy experience with Enterprise was terrible. This is my THIRD time reserving a rental at the Battleground location is there were no vehicles available. My first rental wasn't great but the staff tried to make up for it. I had a reservation for a suv at 8:30am. I arrived at 8:15 and was told there was nothing for me and I had to wait almost 3 hours before something would arrive. This put my trip behind significantly. My second reservation was made from a 3rd party (Rental Claim Services) as my personal vehicle was being repaired after someone in an Enterprise rental hit my personal vehicle. I arrived as directed and there wasn't a rental option for me. I was offered an "upgraded" vehicle that I would have to pay a same fee for so I took that since I had no car. The rental was FILTHY. Finger prints and marks from a cell phone holder were still very much visible. The brakes on the car needed to be replaced. It was terrible. I drove it thinking I only needed it for a few days but that turned into 31 DAYS b/c of the horrible insurance company enterprise has. Absolutely horrible.I complained about the awful experience I had with the vehicle and I was promised a better experience for my next rental and the opportunity to make it right. Well, silly me for believing that. I booked a reservation while I was physically in the Battleground enterprise due to the promise to make things right. Well, I came back the next day to get my rental for a trip I had planned.Literally THE NEXT DAY after I was just promised a correction of errors and there were NO CARS. Again. I can't make this up. This is the absolute worse enterprise I've experienced. The manager told me I was late getting there and all vehicles had been given out for the morning. I would believe her if I hadn't had my two previous issues of actually being early and there were no cars. What is the point of a reservation at this location? At this point, the should only allow people to make reservations at the airport location and close this one. They never have anything but you get confirmed reservations from Enterprise's system. It's complete BS. Do better.
July 14 · ChristinaIf i could rate the cars separate from the employees i would. Because my experiences with the employees were wonderful! The cars not so much. I had to bring my original rental back due to it shaking and having trouble accelerating. The second car, I was embarrassed to even take it back to the facility even though I knew it needed to go back, the tires were BALD W/ a nail in it & the window shield wipers needed replacing, and I had so many issues getting home and heavy rain. I had to pull over before getting home, that’s how bad maintenance need to be fulfilled.. Hope to not have to use this facility again, but if I do, I know I’ll be well taken care of by staff just cars will suck . Thank you kayla especially and a gentleman whose name i cant remember.
September 27 · Kiara SmithBeen doing business with Enterprise for years now, never a problem until this last time 06/18. Had a SUV reserved for months for a family vacation, only to get to the pickup location, for them to let me know they did not have any SUV’s or any other to even offer me. With 8+ rentals with Enterprise, I have never had to confirm my reservation the night before in order for it to be held. What made it worse was after the staff told me that they pretty much acted like they did not care and even started talking about what they wanted for lunch. So now I had to scramble ,pay more in order to find an SUV so I could take my family on a week long vacation. The fact that the staff at this location showed no concern, no sympathy for the position that their company put me in was a slap in the face.
