★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Decent spot with good overall service. Super friendly staff(I think in general people in Pittsburgh are super friendly, I’m from NYC). BUT they will not answer the phone on the weekends because they are so busy, they are only open to from 9am - Noon on weekends. The Chevy Malibu they gave me got a flat tire after driving it less than 40 miles, i tried calling 10x times on Saturday but no answer, I replaced the tire with the spare myself and drove back to the location to swap it out but no other cars were available, they said I can drive with the donut as long as it’s under 35 mile which worked out but it was a hassle, they were cool about and gave a bit of discount at the return, thankfully I didn’t go far with the car but if I did, this would’ve have been a big problem. But things happen and every company makes mistakes, “it’s what you do afterwards that defines you as a company.” They didn’t expect the flat to happen and they were out of cars.. No one dropped the ball, it wasn’t preventable, things just happened. I’d be great if rental car companies answered their phones on weekend(maybe hire more people) but I personally get it.I would rent from this place again!
August 11 · DooksIf you have a choice, rent from a different location or company. I have rented cars through Enterprise dozens of times in Ohio and Pennsylvania without any issues. The cars have always been functional, clean, and the service has always been great. However, my first time renting from the Campbell's Run Road location didn't follow this pattern. My insurance company arranged my rental through this Enterprise location, and I was thankful that they offered shuttle service from the body shop where my car was to the lot. The shuttle driver, Joe, was very friendly and helpful.I was taken aback upon entering the office, where I saw another customer in a very frustrating transaction. The woman had reserved and paid for a vehicle online through Enterprise's website. After taking an Uber to the office to pick up her rental, she was told that there was no car available for her at that location. The customer service representative handling her case seemed unwilling to resolve the issue without requiring her to Uber to another location.I was surprised that I was not asked what type of vehicle I needed. While I was not asked about my vehicle needs, the customer service rep was sure to attempt to scare me into purchasing Enterprise's extended coverage plan. After driving home, I saw a message on the screen saying, "Please have inspection service performed soon." I assumed it was similar to other maintenance messages, meaning I had some time to address it and that the car would still be functional. I also believed the car had undergone some mechanical inspection before my rental to ensure it was in good condition. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. After six days, the car died while sitting in my driveway. I noticed this when I tried to start it to go to work. I have AAA roadside assistance, but I called Enterprise because I wasn't sure what to do — I’d never had a rental car break down before. An employee named Susie answered the call. I explained my situation, and she told me that Enterprise couldn’t do anything because I hadn’t paid for extended coverage. I told her I had roadside assistance through AAA and asked what would happen if the problem required more than a jump start (like a new battery). Instead of answering, Susie suggested that I had probably left a light on or a door open, which had drained the battery, and that was likely the issue. I explained I hadn’t done anything unusual to cause the battery drain, so it wasn’t fair to blame me. She responded, "Enterprise doesn't rent out cars with dead batteries." I told her that, apparently, Enterprise does rent out cars that need inspection, which I had no idea was a problem until the car died. I ended the phone call since Enterprise clearly didn’t care and called AAA. The AAA tech arrived within 30 minutes, jumped the battery, and told me the car probably needs a new one. While rental cars may sometimes have issues, it is unacceptable for a customer service representative to blame a customer without proof. All Susie needed to do was respond to my question with empathy and compassion, but she chose to assign blame instead. I missed out on wages for the day because I couldn't get to work, which was frustrating, but the disrespect directed at me escalated my frustration even further.8.7.2025 Update: I went to the Enterprise URL, as directed by Chris R. in the response to my review, and chatted with a representative on 8.5.2025. They assured me that my concern was being "escalated to the highest level of management." I have not heard from anyone at Enterprise.
August 07 · Heather DoyleGreat place to rent a vehicle, recently rented from the Campbell Run Rd. location and everything went very smoothly. Ally was the staff who assisted me, and she did a great job. Highly recommended.
October 07 · F PittsburghI have rented cars for both personal and professional use from Enterprise for many years and have been happy with the service until now. Beware of mis-quoted rental fees. They added an extra day rental when I didn’t even have the car because I used their key drop box (as I usually do). The invoice was issued 2 days after I returned the car. I called to have it corrected, and they said they’d look into it and call back. No call, so I called again. The second person sited a ‘policy change’ then hung up. I’ve never had such disappointing service from Enterprise before. I recommend avoiding the Campbells Run Road location in Pittsburgh.
May 14 · D HThe Assistant Branch Rental Manager Maury provided excellent customer service. He was very patient in helping to find a vehicle I felt comfortable driving. He made the rental process quick and easy. Surrounding staff was also polite and friendly. Will definitely go here again for future rental needs.
