The Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 5932 N Green Bay Ave in Glendale is an excellent choice for a variety of Wisconsin renters, but especially for those who prioritize community values and convenience. It is worth choosing for its blend of global brand reliability and local operational ethics.
The identification as a women-owned business is a significant differentiator for consumers looking to align their spending with supportive business practices. This local commitment is often reflected in the staff's dedication to quality customer service, a point explicitly mentioned in customer feedback where the staff is described as pleasant and focused on satisfaction. For many people, especially those dealing with the stress of a replacement rental or a tight schedule, this smooth and easygoing process is the most valuable feature.
Furthermore, the practical benefits are substantial: comprehensive van rental options—a necessity for local businesses, university students, and large families—and active military discounts provide tangible value to key segments of the Wisconsin population. The inclusive accessibility features, including the accessible entrance and parking, ensure that the facility is welcoming to all potential customers in the community.
However, potential renters should take heed of customer suggestions regarding vehicle inspection. While the process itself is fast, the advice to "be absolutely sure to take pics and vids of rental before getting in" is a common best practice across the entire rental industry. By incorporating this simple step, renters can ensure that they are protected against charges for prior damage, maximizing the benefit of the otherwise fast and easy rental experience provided by the Glendale team. Ultimately, this branch offers a winning combination: a convenient location, a diverse fleet, and a commitment to customer support, all wrapped in a locally supportive business model.

October 18 · Rochelle TurnerCars aren’t too great but the process was smooth, fast and easygoing. Some of the staff are cool.Be absolutely sure to take pics and vids of rental before getting in because you will be charged for others mishaps! Also, the cars I’ve rented ALL had dents and scratches.
April 09 · Candace AustinDone with this location. My company has Enterprise in their rental pool as the option, so I've rented from them when needing to travel out of state for work to avoid putting miles on my personal vehicle. This is the closest location to me, so I've rented from them numerous times. It's never a great experience, and often a downright terrible one. Plus, their vehicles are just tired overall. I'm done with Enterprise, and especially this location. My major issues I've had:Rented cars on two occasions that absolutely reeked of weed and cigarettes. They dump about 20 ounces of air freshener on the upholstery and expect it to cover up the smell. The first time this happened, it was the last car on the lot, so I had no options. The second time, I demanded a new vehicle. Read the room. I'm traveling for work. What makes you think I'm cool arriving at a meeting smelling like Snoop Dog circa 1998?I had a long-term rental with them once due to a car recall on my personal vehicle. They did a bait and switch and I ended up the most mid Chevy Impala ever, despite being told I'd be getting a comparable model to my personal vehicle. I called a month into this rental and they wouldn't swap out the vehicle. And finally, my wife just rented a vehicle from them to take to Minneapolis through her work. I told her "make sure you take pictures of any damage before you leave the lot." She did, but when she just returned it, they found a scratch on the UNDERCARRIAGE of the car under the passenger side door. My wife didn't have a photo of it, because she couldn't see the damage. They are charging my wife's company insurance for damage from a previous renter. Ridiculous.I'm done with this place. I'd recommend staying clear if you can avoid them as an option. Terrible.
August 15 · Dan HerwigThe Customer Service Rep, Stewart Dahlman went over and beyond to find the vehicle of my choice. He's very polite as well as professional. August 17 · Ellie RhodesOn 8/14, I had a deeply unprofessional and disrespectful interaction with a manager at the Glendale, WI Enterprise location, identified as Nicholas. At the time, I was only listed as the emergency contact for my husband, D’ee. Nicholas called me and spoke in a curt, dismissive, and belittling manner, opening the conversation without basic courtesy or professionalism. When I later called back to report the issue to another staff member, I was transferred directly back to Nicholas, which only escalated my frustration.I later learned my husband only owed $22.50, which hardly justified the tone and disrespect I received. I put my complaint in writing and submitted it as requested, expecting that Enterprise leadership would take it seriously. Instead, Nicholas retaliated by placing my husband on the “Do Not Rent” list over this small balance, abusing his power and authority. This treatment was not only unfair but discriminatory. My husband, who is Black, was treated as if he had no voice or rights as a customer. Nicholas, a white male in a position of authority, chose to use that power to belittle me and punish us instead of resolving the issue. This left us feeling mistreated, targeted, and silenced. What makes the situation worse is that no one from Enterprise’s upper management ever contacted me to address my complaint. There was a major storm and flooding in the area at the time, yet instead of compassion or professionalism, we were treated with hostility and retaliation. This entire experience has made it clear that at this location, customers are not valued, and complaints are not allowed without consequences. I strongly advise that Enterprise investigate the conduct of this manager and take accountability for the mistreatment of customers, especially those of African American or Mexican descent, who may be treated unfairly.I also spoke with Abby, who assured me she would assist in resolving this issue. However, Abby never responded to my follow-up emails, never forwarded my complaint to upper management, and treated us as though we were nobody. Instead of addressing the situation, she allowed this complaint to be swept under the rug, showing complete disregard for accountability and customer respect. This treatment was not only unfair but discriminatory. My husband, who is Black, was treated as if he had no voice or rights as a customer. Nicholas, a white male in a position of authority, used his power to belittle me and retaliate against us instead of resolving the issue. Abby’s silence and failure to escalate the complaint further proved that Enterprise tolerates this type of behavior. There was a major storm and flooding in the area at the time, yet instead of compassion or professionalism, we were met with hostility, retaliation, and neglect. Enterprise’s conduct made it clear that complaints are not welcomed, especially from customers of color, and that there is a pattern of dismissing such concerns rather than resolving them. This experience has left us feeling mistreated, targeted, and silenced. I am filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau and making it public so that other customers are aware of the discriminatory and abusive behavior we experienced at the Glendale, WI Enterprise location. I strongly advise that Enterprise investigate the conduct of both Nicholas and Abby, take accountability, and ensure that customers of African American and Mexican descent are not unfairly treated in the future.
