There were used napkins and a partially eaten Launchable which was throwing a stench in the hot summer sun located the rear passenger side floorboard. If anyone had vacuumed, they would have found it. The interior windshield was grimy and I doubt it was ever cleaned. We had to make a stop at a convenient store for bottle of Windex and a roll of paper towel. It took two cleanings to get the gunk off. I could not imagine how it would have been driving at night - Not safe. The vehicle was also barking for maintenance as it was a couple thousand miles past (car had over 40k miles).Upon return, three days later, I asked the staff to email my receipt and they said no problem - I am still waiting for said receipt. I also voiced my concern for the condition the vehicle was in and the agent's first response was, "Well, we're going to have to get you some money back. What do you think would make it right?". I responded I'd rather receive a clean and maintained vehicle next time and that you need to do better. I wasn't trying to get a handout or partial refund - That wouldn't do me any good as this was booked using points.Finally, yesterday I received an email from my credit card used for $27.97 from this Enterprise location. I was informed this charge was for not returning the vehicle with a full tank. I refueled on the way in as I always do - How dare you not even inspect on my return, provide me with a receipt and then stick me with a bogus charge three weeks later. I will avoid this location at all cost in my future trips to South Bend.Update: 10/15/2025I opened a case but have yet to hear anything back (5 weeks). I was told I could download a copy of my invoice by providing my reservation ID on their website, which I did. It was at that point, I saw someone put an additional ~80 miles on the vehicle beyond where we turned it in. We retraced our routes on Google Maps and approximated we did 98-102 miles before returning the vehicle with a full tank. I was also informed, in a snarky tone, that if I have my credit card company charge-back the $27.97, that I would be forever blacklisted from renting with Enterprise again. So hear I sit waiting patiently for a phone call from their assets/security/forensics team letting me know exactly what happened with the vehicle once I returned it.Keep ya posted.
October 15 · R SchmittWhat a wonderful gentleman was working the counter this afternoon. He saw I was discombobulated due to my flight being possible canceled. He was very friendly and allowed me to check if I was all set with my flight before finalizing my rental return.He also let me check if ai forgot my jacket in the car, because it's how much of a mess I was...😂These days, great customer service is so rare, I had to say something. I did not get his name but working Friday 8-15 afternoon.The manager was really nice and friendly as well. Very refreshing! Thank you for making my experience a bit better 🙂.

Disappointing today, I had a car reservation but there were no cars this afternoon on arrival. Staff was friendly as always, but there were no cars. They suggested I go to Budget but that line was 10 deep. So, I just took an Uber and cancelled the reservation. Maybe better next time.Helpful staff, clean car was ready. Great visit. June 2024 another great rental with great service. Thank you!2nd visit in June, another successful rental. Didn't get a Charger this time, but rolling along nicely in the Corolla. Clean and ready to go.

July 22 · Kathy SimpsonWe love Enterprise. We had a car run a stop sign and total the Enterprise rental car we had rented. Enterprise took excellent care of us. Within an hour they had a new car brought to us. Since then, we rent from no other rental car agencies. They always provide excellent service. Their cars are always clean and well cared for. Our most recent rental car was a Toyota Camry and that was a fun sporty car to drive.
