The vehicle was clean, spacious, and fully wheelchair-accessible.I was nervous about finding reliable non-emergency medical transportation in NYC, but they truly delivered. Booking was easy, and they showed up right on time. I highly recommend their ambulette service for anyone who needs safe, respectful, and comfortable medical transport in New York City.

This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. I'm fairly sure they only have one employee because I cannot get in touch with anyone else. They provided a smaller vehicle than I paid for and refuse to refund the difference because I still used the service. Their driver's vehicle also had zero suspension and every light on his dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree...which eventually caused the vehicle to bottom out and broke the legs on my husband's wheelchair. They won't even acknowledge this in the small amount of correspondence I get. I will be filing a complaint with the TLC. No one should ever use this despicable excuse for a service.ETA: I have also discovered that this company just booked me an Uber and did not send me one of their own vehicles. I’m not sure if they even have their own vehicles or just book Ubers for everyone and upcharge insanely. Save yourself the trouble and just book an Uber I guess.

I sustained a hip fracture rendering me unable to walk or bear weight on my right side. This occurred around the same time I was to start medical treatment. My issue was getting down a flight of stairs in my house, outside and to the hospital. One of the social workers at Mt. Sinai gave me the number of NYC Wheelchair Transportation Service and they have been a blessing since they come into the house and carry me down the stairs. It’s not an inexpensive service, but they have proven to be super reliable and very professional. I speak most often to Marie in Reservations. She knows me and my case when I call, and is always friendly and efficient, super helpful in relaying reservation details and coordinating with dispatch. The drivers are likewise very professional. My favorite team is Stewart and Chris who pick me up in the mornings…always on time, sensitive to my condition, slowing down for speed bumps and potholes…these guys are great! NYC Wheelchair Transportation is an excellent service!
