September 21 · Michael ChiI admit it, I messed up the reservation for a pickup truck and did not realize you needed a credit card NOT a debit card even though it is listed on the website and on signs everywhere when picking up the vehicle (call it old age, I didn't pay attention). Long story shorter, the customer service rep on the phone and Diane at the counter took their time to figure things out, were kind and patient with me. We were able to get it figured out within a half an hour and on the road within an hour of our scheduled check in time with the correct vehicle. Thank you Diane and thank you Budget for the great customer service and all of your help at the Bradley Airport location!
August 25 · liskrisI regret to share that the staff members were not helpful or proactive when I wanted to pick up my prepaid reservation. I have experience working as a front desk associate and I understand it is a challenging job. With my observations, it is clear to me that this staff is insufficiently trained and lacks any sort of motivation. I understood ahead of time that I needed a credit card to check out, so I signed up for one through my bank a week ahead of pick up time and had it on my Apple wallet. The physical credit card did not arrive to my mailbox before my trip. The apple wallet card was not able to be accepted, (which I am suspicious of because I had all the credit card information to provide) so they told me to call the customer service to ask for a refund and rebook under someone else's name with a physical credit card. I complied. Surprisingly, the front desk associate did not want to provide me with a customer service phone number. My companions and I had to ask more than once to get a 1-800 phone number. I then proceeded to be on the phone for more than 30 minutes to get my reservation cancelled and remade under someone else's name. The customer service was standard. Once the new reservation was made, we were given no help in locating the car under my friend's name. They provided an incorrect location in the garage and could not provide help when we asked where the correct location of the car was. Luckily, and automatic text from a computer gave us the location of our rental car. On top of all this, I was told I would be given a refund in 3-5 business days for my prepaid reservation. I have waited 6 business days and there is still no refund issues. I called customer service today to check on the status and they informed me that the location never cancelled my reservation to begin with. In conclusion, I will avoid being a patron of this company in the future. I'd also like to note that this is the first experience in my 27 years that has ever motivated me to leave a negative Google Review.

May 07 · MikeYou charged me over $600 for one of the worst rentals of all time. And after viewing all of the issues (which I took pictures of), maybe you will agree.First and foremost, I understand that it was a holiday weekend and rentals were scarce. However, this is NOT an excuse for ANY rental company to offer their customers subpar vehicles.Here are a list of my issues:1. The rep at the counter made it a point to tell me to return the car with a full tank, but as soon as I got in, the tank was half full. (See pic, compare mileage)2. As soon as I got home, the low tire pressure light came on (I live 12 minutes from the airport-see pic). It was the front right tire. Upon further inspection, a literal chunk of the tire was missing. Over the course of the time we had this car, we had to carry a portable tire pump to inflate the tire at the end of every day. So much for convenience.3. The second day, the check engine light came on. Amazing! (See Pic for reference). The last thing I expect to do with a rental is to worry about it breaking down and putting my safety in danger.4. Dirty. All surfaces were sticky and car smelled bad (the air coming out of the ac). Also, when putting the back seats into their upright position, a spring flew out towards my face- is this even normal ?You gave me the worst car on the lot and apparently think it makes sense to send me a bill for this amount.Your vehicle was untrustworthy, dangerous and should be removed from your fleet to have maintenance performed on it immediately. Please stop putting the lives of your customers at stake due to your carelessness
