My experience has gone from inconvenient to downright unacceptable.On multiple occasions, even after calling ahead to confirm my reservation, I’ve shown up on time only to be told “no cars available.” This has happened more times than I can count. What’s the point of making a reservation if Enterprise never honors it?I’ve contacted corporate several times with no resolution. The local branch even told me directly to “contact corporate because they don’t care.” That says it all. Meanwhile, Enterprise doesn’t even bother to notify customers when they are sold out. The entire process feels outdated, and so does the customer service. Staff are unfriendly, unhelpful, and anything but accommodating.To make matters worse, Enterprise takes WEEKS to finalize payments after you return a car. I was even charged for days I didn’t use, accused of bringing a car back late when the truth is they just waited three weeks to process my payment. I only discovered this when trying to book another rental—only to be told I “owed more money.”The worst experience of all was at the local branch with manager Tatiyana Curtis. After being checked in and walked out to a car by associate Tony Smith, she suddenly took the keys back, saying the car was for someone else—even though my husband and I were the only customers there. We then watched another person arrive later and drive away in the very same car. When I asked about another vehicle that had just been returned, she told me it “smelled like marijuana” and that I’d likely get no car at all that day.This level of disorganization, dishonesty, and disrespect is shocking—especially for someone like me who has been a loyal customer since 2006.At this point, I can honestly say: BEWARE. However, what I did not expect (nor accept) was the complete lack of preparation, proactive communication, or thoughtful service from the Smyrna staff. Rather than offering solutions or support, the experience was met with long pauses, delayed responses, vague apologies, and no meaningful engagement or ownership.In moments like this, the measure of a company isn’t whether things go wrong—it’s how the people respond when they do. And that’s where the Mableton location—and more specifically, the Assistant Manager—set the gold standard for customer service.After my initial frustration, I was redirected to the Mableton location. The moment I connected with the Assistant Manager there, everything changed. She was genuinely hospitable, highly communicative, and took immediate ownership—not of the problem, but of the solution. I returned the car on August 15th the young lady who assisted me was Ms. Alexis, she completed the return of the vehicle and asked me to complete a survey that I would receive in my email i stated I would , and also I will tell them know that they need to clean the cars because mines was filthy the windows were nasty it smelled like cigarettes, there were two other employees standing around talking one of the employees whose name is Tony Smith said " don't do that it will mess up the hold survey " I said you want me to lie....he went back and forth with me, very argumentative a lady comes out of this office and takes him in this room the break room because he was getting out hand with that mouth, they come out he's looking like whatever she heads back to the office not even acknowledging me to apologize for the unprofessional behavior I asked her was she the manager she said the assistant manager, I asked her name, Ms.Tatiyana she walks back to the office, no apologies for the behavior she needs more training on damage control. I called corporate to let them know that they are not the only car rental in town, Do Better so you can Be Better..
