I had to go back to teh page after checking something. and it somehow reset to 12:00 pm which is the "default", of which I was not aware. So I confess that I am partially at fault for not checking carefully at the site a second/third time. When. i arrived they said the reservation is not until 12. I said I needed it now as iI had a long drive and would be late to my destination if I left at 12. The gentlemen and lady at the desk insisted there was nothing the could do. Really??? They even said we have teh car and will get everything ready now and then you can simply pick it up at 12---if you had the car then at 9--WHY NOT LET ME TAKE IT!???? I am certain the folks who work for nextcar can make a change in the system of a "12" to a "9"? How easy is that?? The man helping me even state "yeah sometimes the website does that"....well if it does, it should be a VERY EASY FIX. The rest of my experience was fine and I really loved the car they gave me. BUt waiting 3 hours for truly NO GOOD REASON, truly clouded my experience this time. Nothing against the people at the desk who helped, but they should have easily been able to simply let me take the car. Please fix the website so it does not default to 12. Perhaps do not have a time setting at all, which will ensure that you cannot proceed without the renter inputting a time themselves.
October 08 · Joe JuniorAwesome experience long story short I had a reservation with another company and found out that I needed a credit card when I had the money on a debit card. They could not rent to me and was going on vacation over 800 miles the next day. I needed a rental car fast and something that would be big enough to fit 6 people in comfortably with luggage. That’s where next car came through for me. I was able to rent a Toyota grand Highlander without a major credit card on file. They were able to take my debit card and made check out and check in a breeze. Thank you next car and do not ever change this as you really came through for me and my family ! Will recommend to anyone and is my new go to rental car company in the future.
September 26 · Brian FrederickI have asked to change vehicles for the past two months. The agent acts as if they didn’t know when I spoke with them to make a reservation and requested the change. I have been leasing for over 3 months and am bothered that I am not being heard. I am working to repair my vehicle as quickly as possible so I can turn this vehicle back in to the Twinbrook location.
October 09 · Beatriz Beltran SaulThe process was great when I picked up my rental. Everyone at the Rockville location were helpful and made the process easy. Returning the vehicle at the Gaithersburg location-was one of the worst experiences I have encountered in a while. Anthony at that location was very rude and unprofessional. I walked in and asked if I would get the difference back for returning my vehicle early he ignored my question went outside to look at the vehicle and then went ahead and closed my contract without answering my question and said I was not getting my refund. Then I told him that’s not what I wanted nor asked him to do and he did not care he told me there was nothing he could do about it. Wouldn’t let me speak to the manager and was very nonchalant. At one point he yelled at me. And he also just ignored me and wouldn’t answer my questions. He also told me he couldn’t get the manager cause someone was using the phone I asked him if they only had one line he told me yes and right after the phone rung so he lied. I did get the assistance I needed at the end but not through him it was the worst.
September 23 · IngridCar was great. I was 2 hrs late to return and they would not consider refunding a partial day. I was willing to pay 1/2 day. It was crappy especially because my car is at dealer where they are located. Customers here are waiting on cars. I think that should give some precedence.
