UFODRIVE: 24/7 Car Rental - New York, Columbus Circle Introduce
Welcome to the next generation of car rental in the heart of New York City. UFODRIVE, located conveniently in the Columbus Circle area, is not your traditional car rental agency. It’s a completely digital, 24/7, and exclusively electric vehicle (EV) rental experience designed to eliminate the common headaches of queues, paperwork, and hidden fees. For New Yorkers looking to embrace sustainable travel without sacrificing convenience, UFODRIVE offers an innovative, app-driven solution right in Manhattan. Whether you need a premium electric vehicle for a weekend getaway or a long-term subscription alternative, this service redefines the meaning of 'arrive and drive.'
This service operates on the principle of a fully self-service model. Everything from booking and registration to unlocking and starting the car is handled directly through their mobile app. This focus on technology delivers a seamless, contactless process that appeals to the fast-paced life of the city. Their dedication to an all-electric fleet—featuring premium models like Tesla and Polestar—also makes it a compelling choice for environmentally conscious drivers in the NYC region eager to experience the future of mobility.
The UFODRIVE New York location is strategically situated in one of Manhattan's most dynamic and accessible neighborhoods, Columbus Circle. Its exact address places it close to major transit hubs and offers easy entry and exit points for heading North to Upstate New York or out to New Jersey and Connecticut.
The specific address for pickup and drop-off, often referred to as a "UFOBAY," is: 330 W 58th St, New York, NY 10019, USA.
Being located in Midtown West, just a short walk from Central Park and major subway stations, the location is exceptionally convenient for residents and business travelers. A key feature of the physical location is its accessibility, providing a dedicated Wheelchair accessible entrance to ensure all customers can easily access the facility. The cars are typically housed in a dedicated parking area, which often includes charging infrastructure, a necessity for the all-electric fleet. Since the service is 24/7, New Yorkers can pick up or drop off their rental at any time, a level of flexibility rarely seen in traditional city rental agencies. However, as one user noted, the entirely virtual key system can complicate parking, often limiting options to street parking or self-parking garages where the renter physically controls the vehicle, which can be challenging in a city like New York.
As a modern, technology-focused car rental agency, UFODRIVE’s services revolve around a high-tech, digital-first experience, distinctly separating it from legacy rental methods.
- 24/7 Self-Service Car Rental: Access to the vehicle for pick-up and drop-off is available at any hour using the UFODRIVE app—no need to wait for counter staff.
- Exclusive Electric Vehicle (EV) Fleet: The rental pool consists entirely of premium electric cars, often including popular and desirable models such as Tesla Model Y, Polestar 2, and others.
- App-Based, Keyless Operation: The user's smartphone acts as the vehicle key, handling locking, unlocking, and starting the car. The app also guides the user through pre-rental checks and the return process.
- Transparent and All-Inclusive Pricing: The company claims to offer pricing that includes charging costs and avoids the hidden fees, upsells, and nasty surprises often associated with traditional rentals.
- Charging Included: The rental price often includes charging. The app is integrated with a large network of chargers (including Tesla Superchargers) and provides active range and charging support to eliminate 'range anxiety' for EV newcomers.
- Short-Term and Long-Term Rentals: Customers can book a vehicle for a single day, a week, a month, or even opt for longer-term subscription services as an alternative to ownership or leasing.
- Payment Methods: Accepted forms of payment include Credit cards and Debit cards, providing flexibility, though deposits and age restrictions may apply based on the card and local policy.
UFODRIVE in New York highlights its unique selling points that appeal specifically to a modern, tech-savvy, and eco-aware consumer base in the metropolitan area.
- Contactless and Paperless Experience: The entire process, from registration to contract signing, is done digitally via the app, meaning zero queueing and zero traditional paperwork at the counter.
- Guaranteed Vehicle Model: Unlike many traditional agencies that rent by class, UFODRIVE typically allows customers to book a specific car model (e.g., a Tesla Model Y) and receive that exact model.
- Premium, Eco-Friendly Fleet: Renting a late-model, zero-emission vehicle is a major draw for those prioritizing sustainability and a premium driving experience.
- High Customer Satisfaction: The brand generally promotes itself as having world-class, high ratings, fixing the common frustrations of conventional car hire.
- Support for Additional Drivers: Up to three complimentary additional drivers can be added via the app, subject to age and licensing verification.
- Child Seat Provision: Child seats are available upon request and often without additional cost, though advance notice is required to ensure availability.
As a fully app-based service, UFODRIVE primarily relies on digital communication, though contact information for the physical location and general customer support is available.
Address: 330 W 58th St, New York, NY 10019, USA
Note on Phone Contact: The service is primarily digital. While a phone number for the specific location may not be widely published, customers are directed to use the in-app chat support, which is advertised as being available 24/7 for VIP customer support.
For New Yorkers, UFODRIVE in Columbus Circle presents a fundamentally different and compelling value proposition—it offers a truly modern, sustainable, and hassle-free way to rent a car. The all-electric fleet, especially the availability of Teslas, provides a high-quality driving experience for a road trip or even just a short burst of mobility outside of public transit. The 24/7 self-service and the elimination of paperwork and queues are significant time-savers that address major pain points of traditional city car rental.
It is worth choosing UFODRIVE if your priorities align with:
- Efficiency and Speed: The fully digital platform allows for an incredibly fast 'arrive and drive' process, avoiding typical counter delays.
- Sustainability and Premium Vehicles: Driving a late-model, zero-emission vehicle like a Tesla is a unique selling point for those seeking a premium and eco-friendly journey.
- Transparency: The all-inclusive pricing model, which covers charging, is a major advantage over traditional rental contracts where fuel/gas costs can be a variable and unexpected expense.
- Flexibility: The 24/7 access is perfect for travelers with very early morning departures or late-night returns, especially useful near major transit points like Columbus Circle.
However, potential users, particularly those under 25, must note critical points raised in customer feedback. The company's minimum age requirement is globally stated as being 26 in most places, and while New York State mandates the minimum rental age to be 18, it is paramount that customers under 25 confirm their eligibility directly with UFODRIVE before booking or providing payment information. A review highlighted a significant issue where an applicant was charged and progressed through a lengthy registration process only to be denied for being under 25—a clear time and cost waste.
Additionally, the digital process, while efficient, depends entirely on the app and a stable internet connection. Customers should complete the required ID and driver's license validation (which can sometimes be quirky or slow according to feedback) well in advance of their pickup time. Finally, the keyless app system, while innovative, can be an inconvenience in high-density parking situations like those common in NYC. Therefore, a successful rental requires a degree of preparation and understanding of the company's specific digital-first procedures.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Excellent service. Staff is extremely communicative and responsive. Car is nice. If you’re never driven a TSLA before look up some basic maneuvering / screen control. Only downside for major cities like NYC is that since it’s a virtual key only - parking can only be done on the street or self parking which is harder to find. If they fix that would be perfect. Also if they were able to allow 1 dog.
June 22 · John H JungWaste my 1 hour there, must do registration through phone and waiting for id validation…. Car only pick up keyless with their app. Nobody pickup customer phone line. After 1 hour I finally reached them out through email and they said they don’t rent to under 25.If that’s the case why not just state it before card charging and rental agreement signed? So I don’t need to waste time.
September 12 · SJsoooColdThe rental was clean and the app was easy to use. Would definitely rent again.
May 21 · Byron StokesEvery thing was perfect i just suggest you give the key to us in addition to the app because all valet parking require to keep the key with them so i had hard time finding parking that accept my rental car with out key
