When I handed over my credit card and ID, the representative placed them back on the table and shoved them toward me, which I found disrespectful and unprofessional.Hoping to give the location a fresh start, I returned today to rent again. Unfortunately, I was met with the same dismissive attitude. Due to my prior experience, I recorded the interaction to ensure there would be no dispute about what occurred. The representative became upset upon realizing this and treated me with further disrespect.I strongly believe I have been discriminated against based on the color of my skin, as both of my visits reflect a pattern of different treatment toward Brown and Hispanic customers. My own research into customer reviews suggests that others have had similar experiences at this location.Today’s incident escalated further when the representative flung a chair against the wall because we remained seated. Additionally, I witnessed the representative refuse to assist another customer in retrieving personal items from a returned vehicle, instead instructing them to take the keys back — which would have caused continued charges. I stepped in to provide the customer with Hertz’s contact number, which should have been offered by your staff.All of these incidents are captured on your facility’s security cameras, as well as on my personal recording from today. This behavior does not reflect the values or standards I expect from Hertz, a company I have been loyal to for many years.I am requesting a direct call from your Corporate Office to address this matter. September 09 · Javan TooleyHad a reservation for a medium 7 passenger SUV today for 6 days. Had made this reservation few weeks ago. Went couple of days ago to the location to make sure I will have a vehicle this morning and was assured it will be there by an employee. When I went this morning and asked same employee, I was told no 7 passenger SUV was available. I asked to cancel the reservation and left. The reservation has not been cancelled yet by that employee and I am struggling with Hertz customer service to get it cancelled and not be charged a no show fee as I went there on time! Don’t rent at this location if you want a good customer experience and appropriate vehicle. This almost ruined my vacation but was able to luckily get a car elsewhere.Update 09/04/25: Got an email on 08/24 from Hertz support saying reservation was cancelled and I won’t be charged a fee. Was charged no show fee on 08/28. Submitted a question to support team again today. This is ridiculous and an inconvenience.

July 28 · Meg BradleyI booked with a complementary upgrade either through my credit card and with their promo code. They did not honor either and lied originally saying they would give me an SUV after booking a midsize. They did offer a compact car which would be a downgrade. Total time spent here was 1 hour when it should be in and out.
August 21 · Manson PhuProbably won’t be renting from here again.The staff was nice enough. Not the most efficient check in or out process.The issue was with the car itself.- Rented an EV. Was promised average 80% charge upon pick up. The car was below 60%, causing a delay in our travels as we had to stop and charge early.- Car smelled of cigarettes (which seem to happen in almost all rentals) I am slightly allergic. Had to purchase a car sent to try to cut the cigarette smell.- The interior windows/windshield were a MESS. Looked as if they tried to clean it before hand but they left thick streaks all over the window. This became a major safety issue when driving in low light/at night. We had to stop and fully properly clean the interior windows before continuing our travels.- The passenger side seat recliner was broken and we were never notified upon pick up. I would have suggested another vehicle if we had known. I was traveling with my wife who is pregnant and she needed the to be able to recline the seat to be comfortable/ safe.Most likely will never rent from here again.
