ACE Rent A Car Introduce
Welcome to your guide on car rental services in the vibrant heart of Nevada. When you're planning a trip to Las Vegas—whether for the Strip's dazzling entertainment, a convention, or an outdoor adventure to the stunning Red Rock Canyon or Hoover Dam—reliable transportation is essential. ACE Rent A Car, located conveniently near the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), provides a variety of rental options to help you explore Southern Nevada and beyond.
As a professional car rental agency, ACE Rent A Car focuses on providing options for travelers with different budgets and needs, from economical compact cars for city driving to larger SUVs for family excursions into the Nevada landscape. Their goal is to offer affordable rates and a broad selection of vehicles to ensure your travel plans can proceed smoothly.
It is important to note that while they are an active part of the Las Vegas car rental market, ACE Rent A Car operates slightly differently from some of the major agencies located directly within the main McCarran Rent A Car Center. This difference is mainly reflected in the shuttle process, which can involve a two-step journey from the airport terminal to their off-site location, a detail frequently mentioned by local users.
ACE Rent A Car's main location in the Las Vegas area is strategically situated on a major boulevard, providing relatively quick access to both the airport and the famous Strip.
The address for this agency is:
8755 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89123, USA
The agency is an off-airport rental facility near the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). Customers arriving by air should first board the Harry Reid International Airport Rent A Car Center shuttle from the baggage claim area. Once at the main Car Rental Center, you will transfer to a separate, dedicated ACE shuttle, which typically runs every 15 to 25 minutes during operating hours, to take you to the final rental office location. This procedure is key for first-time renters to be aware of to ensure a smooth transition from arrival to pickup.
For customers with mobility concerns, the facility offers key accessibility features, including a Wheelchair accessible entrance and a Wheelchair accessible parking lot, making the location more accommodating for all travelers.
ACE Rent A Car in Las Vegas offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet various travel needs, ensuring you find the right vehicle for your journey through Nevada.
- Diverse Vehicle Fleet: Offering a wide selection of car groups including Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Fullsize, SUVs (like the Nissan Kicks or Hyundai Santa Fe), Vans (Minivans, 15-passenger vans), Pickup Trucks, and Luxury/Premium vehicles. This variety caters to solo travelers, families, and larger groups.
- Flexible Rental Periods: Vehicles can be rented for daily, weekly, or longer-term periods, depending on your itinerary.
- Airport Shuttle Service: Providing a necessary shuttle from the main Harry Reid International Airport Rent A Car Center to their off-site rental location on South Las Vegas Boulevard.
- Additional Equipment Rentals: Availability of extras such as Child Seats (infant, toddler, and booster seats) and GPS navigational systems for an extra daily fee.
- Additional Driver Option: For an extra daily fee, an additional driver can be added to the rental agreement, with spouses often driving free of charge (local policies should always be confirmed).
- Multiple Payment Options: Accepting various forms of electronic payment for convenience.
Choosing the right car rental agency often comes down to specific features that enhance your experience. ACE Rent A Car offers several key highlights for their Las Vegas location:
- Competitive Pricing: The company is often noted for offering competitive and affordable rates, particularly on economy and compact car classes, making it a budget-conscious option for travelers.
- Broad Payment Acceptance: They offer convenient payment flexibility, accepting major Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover), bank-issued Debit cards (with specific terms for airline arriving or local customers), and modern NFC mobile payments. Cash payment is typically accepted upon the return of the vehicle.
- Accessibility Commitment: Dedicated features such as a Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot ensure better service for customers requiring mobility accommodations.
- Variety of Passenger and Cargo Capacity: The availability of full-size sedans, various SUVs, and passenger vans means renters can easily find a vehicle that accommodates both their group size and luggage capacity for longer Nevada road trips.
For reservations, inquiries, or assistance with pickup and drop-off instructions, especially concerning the shuttle service, users are encouraged to contact the agency directly.

Choosing ACE Rent A Car in Las Vegas is often a decision driven by balancing cost, vehicle selection, and specific needs. The agency is particularly worth considering for Nevada visitors who prioritize finding a great value on their rental. With a diverse fleet that ranges from fuel-efficient compact models like the Hyundai Accent or Toyota Yaris to more spacious options like a Chrysler Pacifica minivan or a variety of SUVs, there’s likely a car that fits your trip's requirements, whether you're sticking to city limits or venturing out to the Mojave Desert's natural wonders.
Furthermore, the acceptance of major debit cards for deposits (under specific terms, such as having a roundtrip airline ticket or meeting local renter criteria) can be a significant advantage for travelers who prefer not to use a credit card for the full rental process. The reported positive experiences, such as smooth transactions and helpful, knowledgeable staff members like 'Nelle' mentioned in customer feedback, suggest that when the service is at its best, the process can be seamless and pleasant. The vehicles themselves are generally described as being in good working order and fairly priced.
However, potential customers should set clear expectations regarding the logistics of pickup and return. The two-shuttle process from LAS to the rental location is a consistent point of feedback that adds time to the rental process compared to agencies located directly in the main Rent A Car Center. Customers should factor this extra time into their arrival and departure plans. Additionally, as with any high-volume service provider, customer service experiences can vary, and it is always advisable to review all terms and conditions—especially those related to deposits, insurance requirements, and local renter policies—prior to booking. For those who value cost savings and don't mind the extra shuttle step, ACE Rent A Car offers a viable and feature-rich option for exploring Las Vegas and the beautiful Nevada landscape.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My experience with ace car rental was good. Nelle made our transaction as seamless as it possibly could be. Any issue that may have come up she was knowledgeable about and met us with an appropriate an adequate response. She and her team mate offered us some comic relief during the transaction 🤣. The car it’s self was priced fairly and was in good working order. Overall the experience was very good. I appreciate her patience and kindness and knowledge. Definitely if we’re in the city again we would use Ace.
October 15 · Traci HoustonHands down, this was one of the worst rental car experiences I’ve ever had.First red flag: you don’t just hop on a shuttle at the airport like every other rental company. No, with Ace you have to take two separate shuttle buses just to get to their off-site location. It’s a hassle, and while maybe forgivable on its own, it set the stage for what was coming. When we finally arrived, we were greeted with a sign on the door that said only one person from each rental party was allowed inside. My wife and I were both drivers, so we had to stand outside in a dark Las Vegas parking lot at night, swapping places one at a time just to hand over our information. Completely absurd. I’ve rented from countless agencies over the years and have never seen something this inconvenient and impractical. But the absolute dealbreaker was the return process. An employee named Brandy was managing the return line, and her attitude was beyond unprofessional — it was hostile. Instead of giving customers clear, courteous instructions, she barked at people like they were inmates. “You in the Elantra, leave your keys on, move forward when directed.” It wasn’t just rude — it was aggressive, like a bizarre mix between a TSA agent and a prison guard. When I didn’t understand something she shouted and responded politely with “lo siento,” her reply was to mock me with a sarcastic “vroom, vroom.” I was floored. I’ve served in the military and know what it feels like to be barked at, but this was something else. It was jaw-droppingly unprofessional, demeaning, and completely unnecessary.Between the endless shuttles, ridiculous policies, and staff who treat customers with open hostility, Ace Rent-A-Car made what should have been a simple process into a miserable one. I would never rent from them again, and I strongly urge anyone considering them in Las Vegas to look elsewhere.
October 07 · John CumperNote this facility is off site of the airport and requires two different shuttle rides to get there. The airport shuttle line was a little long the day I arrived and from the moment of stepping out of the airport, it took ~45 minutes to arrive to ACE. Once there, I worked with Reinna, who was both pleasant and professional to work with. Be aware there will be up charge offers presented (upgrading to a nicer vehicle, insurance, etc), so it's best to decide on those in advance so it's not an impulse decision. Also note one important fine print item- "VEHICLE USE IS RESTRICTED TO THE STATES; NEVADA, UTAH, ARIZONA & CALIFORNIA ONLY. VEHICLES LEAVING THE STATE WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION WILL BE CHARGED $350." Luckily I wasn't going to any of those states, but do be aware of that policy. Vehicle was nice, seemed fairly new, was clean, and well detailed. Return was fast and smooth, taking maybe only a minute or two. Then you take the two shuttles back to the airport. Overall a good experience and they didn't overcharge me or tack on bogus charges, staying true to the initial invoice. The service was good enough to use again, especially if traveling solo. But if traveling with kids, or time is of the essence, you may be better off going with a rental place that doesn't require the second shuttle ride. Other than that, 5 stars.
October 02 · Tyler CapozziIt was the first time I rented a car with ACE Rent A Car, and I'm glad I did. The car was in very good condition, and the price was excellent. Getting from the airport to their location was easy, and when we arrived, we didn't have to wait or stand in line to pick up the car. It was quick and simple. It was an excellent experience, and the people were very kind and helpful. I definitely highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Las Vegas who wants to receive excellent service.
October 07 · david moralesAfter a later flight and just wanting to get a start on my trip, we needed to take a shuttle to the rental car building, get out of that shuttle and wait for a van to pick us up to take us to the Ace building that was back off the road in a big garage. Where more waiting was required. Of course we finally get our representative who tells me I need to pay to be a secondary driver. I explained I didn't need that as my son was the designated driver. He had to go to his manager to get it "approved" not to charge me the extra supposed "mandatory" fee to be a passenger. I had booked a compact SUV with Expedia and purchased Expedia insurance for $88. To which I was told I needed the Ace insurance because the 3rd party insurance wouldn't cover anything. We also asked for an SUV with GPS to which we were told $10 more per day for a GPS device ..but for $23.95 a day we could get a better upgrade. We accepted that, even though it was much bigger than the compact SUV was requested. Finally got keys and had to stop at a check point for pictures of the car to be taken by Ace. Got to our hotel Red Rock Casino 20 miles away. Leaving to get dinner & notice the check tire pressure light on. We decided to go the 20 miles back & we are told a nail is in the tire & we need to pay between $50-$250 .. I had to fill out a damage report & one of the Ace reps literally told me to fill a damage claim with Red Rock casino for the nail?? We were able to drive on it back to Ace- it may have come from the Ace lot. That sounded shady as I really doubt it came from the hotel parking ramp. We drove the car a total of 39 miles (20 miles back) before spending another hour+ switching vehicles. We were given another car but all the hassle of filling out a form, being told we are responsible because "why would Ace pay for a tire damage". Unfortunately, getting back to the hotel at 11pm didn't leave much time to enjoy my hotel stay. I was told I needed to submit my claim to Expedia insurance within 24 hrs.. because I have no damage cost or photos I emailed and was finally sent pictures a day later that showed a tire with a nail as a 206 tire where the other tires in Their photos were Toyo tires. This was even more deceptive...it made me wish I would have looked at the nail. No cost or bill was ever sent. They did a $300 rental payment hold. The day before returning the car we got a text to fill up the gas within 5 miles of Ace & bring the receipt to confirm. I've Never had this requirement from other rental companies. We returned the rental that I ordered for $344.00 with Expedia was quoted at Ace for over $700. If I would have accepted all of their sales pitch options. With the upgrade we were about $450.00+Expedia insurance. Still more with taxes.Taxes showed $111.00. But billed $160.37.$31.87+ for an extra van ride...idk..??Next time I'll rent from a car option in the rental center. Will post to Expedia also.Giving 2 stars because the car was clean & new with under 6k miles.
