★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It’s a TRAP!!! They are not doing business in good faith. I’m disappointed and have learned my lesson. It is true that you should stick with what you know. Here is the reason why some companies survive and others don’t. I secured my reservation on Orbitz - something I’ve done countless times, at a $99 per day rate for an 11:00 pm pickup. I received a confirmation. I tried to pay but it said to pay at pickup. (Remember this point bc this is how they get you). I was delayed and since their listed hours of operation are from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm I realized I might not make it before close so I attempted to call at 10:45pm but no one picked up. I figured that to get stuck out there (in a desolate, isolated area) after they have closed didn’t make any sense. I arrived the following morning at 6:37 am. The line was not long but took an eternity bc it took the ONE attendant available a lifetime and a half to process the only 3 people who were ahead of me. So I finally arrived at the counter at 7:30 am. The rep proceeds to tell me that my reservation was cancelled. I said “ you only gave me a 30 minute window and no one answered your phones. I’ve been here since you opened.” The rep replies well it’s already cancelled over here. You can rebook right now. For the same car it is now $400 per day.” I say “are you crazy? How much is the lowest priced?” She replies $356 per day!!! I said “I booked this car at 10:30 pm for 11:00 pm. You close at 11:30 pm. There is no way someone else booked it!!?? She then replies “well you weren’t charged for the car!!” Then the rep adds “it’s because they overbook” Aha! Thats the scam, they overbook, don’t charge you in advance, you show up in a desolate area far from the terminals and other rental companies. They only have one shuttle back and forth. Once you are stuck out there you either take their over inflated price or lose hours in your day. If you do make it and are not cancelled you now face additional charges for insurance and other fees. While I was there and walking out another set of patrons were complaining that they were charged additional fees that were not listed online. Just beware that just because they look like they are offering the lowest price it is NOT the best price.

July 21 · Yelissaveta IbraimovaNEVER AGAIN WILL I RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.I reserved a 12-passenger van five months in advance, only to receive a call 13 hours before pickup telling me there were no vans available at JFK and that I’d have to find my own way to LaGuardia to get one. Completely unacceptable.After pushing through multiple people, I finally got to a supervisor (Frank), who assured me he’d resolve it. He called back 45 minutes later promising the van would be at JFK for us. But when we landed at 6 a.m., I got another call—the van still wasn’t there. Once again, we were told to go to LaGuardia. I asked them to send a shuttle, which took nearly an hour, and we would deal with it once we got there, only to hear the same story once we got there.After wasting almost two more hours, the “solution” was for us to drive to Newark to get a van—and we had to find our own way there. We finally got them to agree to give us two rentals so we could drive to Newark. Before releasing the van, they forced me to pay for insurance even though I had full coverage with proof from USAA. The agent refused to honor it, telling me I had to pay upfront and could request a refund later.By the time everything was sorted, we had missed our scheduled boat ride—money completely wasted—because this company couldn’t honor a confirmed, prepaid reservation.To top it off, after returning the van and letting them refuel it, I was hit with an outrageous gas charge of $136.20 for what should’ve been no more than $60. Still trying to dig to the bottom of this and figure out what in the hell they charged me for.The van itself worked fine, but the entire rental process was a nightmare. Not to mention the time that we spent wasting, watching all the other unhappy customers having just as many problems as we were having. This company caused unnecessary stress, wasted hours of our trip, and cost us money. I will never rent from them again.

October 17 · Regina RinaldiThis place is absolutely horrible when it came to customer service the supervisor there his name is David and he told me he gave me a vehicle that they had to replace a fan for the radiator and that was after the fact that I made it to my destination which was florida from ny and not only that but charged me an extra 750 dollars just to make it to Florida I found it outrageous so not only did we pay all this money but we was told to leave the car in the middle of i4 in tampa Florida heat I have 3 kids and he said he would reimburse my remaining day and good luck to me finding my way back home to ny there was absolutely no reason to speak to a customer in that manner if I was seeking help I would never recommend a place like this to anyone stay far away unless their policies and staff members do a complete make over this place will take all your money and no one will help if you are out of state say nooooo to this company and will all these 1 stars im surprise there company is still even valid
