I reserved a SUV for one day but was charged for two days. When I checked out the car in the morning and asked Jason if I can drop it off in the evening, he told me that I can park the car and leave the key with the front desk of the hotel as the Avis office will be closed by then. I did return the car around 10:30 PM and gave the key to the receptionist and told her where I parked the car. Then I called a Uber and went home. Two days after, I received a bill from Avis and was shocked that it shows the return time was one day later than my actual return time and the total mileage was way more than the actual miles I had driven. I called Jason twice about the incorrect billing. He admitted it was an error and promised he will process a refund for me, which he never did. I don’t know what is holding him back. I am extremely disappointed. The lesson learned is: Don’t drop off the car and leave the key with the front desk during the off hours of the Avis office. The car return information will not be exchanged between Avis and the hotel as timely as you would assume. It cost me $111!Follow-up (6/26): To Owner: Thank you for your reply. The reservation number is 30648344US6 and the rental agreement number is 759228175. Please look into it.

Decent experience. Showed up at nearly 8am on a Saturday after reserving a rental through CostcoTravel (highly recommended). Rep was a little disorganized on getting me into the specific type of vehicle I was wanting (A "Standard" car, they say "Buick Verano or similar", basically, a Fusion or a Camry). I was heading out to Scottsdale AZ so I wanted something with good MPG. He had a Fusion available but it was deemed "high mileage" by Avis (which he explained was only like 25k miles) so he'd need an override from his manager, who wasn't there. He called him but the manager didn't answer. He had a Mazda3 but that was smaller than I wanted, and I was in a bit of a rush and I was growing a little tired of checking out multiple cars, so I went ahead with a Buick Encore he had available. 26mpg average wasn't terrible, but a car would average about 10mpg more than that on the highway. Overall a decent experience. I dropped off the keys the next day with the hotel attendant next door, which was a nice perk.

A one person office but Jason is the best, we have rented from him once a year for 3-4 years. Saturday when we picked up the car Andrew was very helpful. Sometimes you have to wait because one person waits on you , cleans cars and whatever else they do . The office is convenient to hotel .

I needed a one way rental for a short trip. The pick up facility was near my home, and the drop off location was very close to the hotel. The staff at both ends were courteous and professional, and the car was new and clean. The cost was less than I expected. I will definitely consider Avis in the future. Excellent, pleasant experience.

I'd give zero stars, as my reserved pick up time of 2 was not honored. In fact,the office was empty. There was a hand posted note on the window, stating new hours, closing at 2 m-f. Obviously, it closed early. They don't allow anyone in the office, only show needed documents thru the window. We had to get an Uber back to the airport to get a car. Ridiculous!
