But they sneakily tried to charge me for refueling fees, even though I returned the car with a full tank (with more gas than the previous renter had left me when I picked the car up). The e-receipt that was generated the minute I dropped off the car added this extra charge under the “nontaxable products / services” category and not under “taxable products / services” (the category which states that it includes fees and surcharges and is where I might normally expect to look to see if there had been any additional charges). Nowhere in the receipt confirmation email was it stated that a refueling charge had been applied, and it was easy to assume that the price difference was due to local or state taxes or base fees. If I hadn’t thought to call customer service to inquire about the difference in price, I wouldn’t have known. I will say, the customer service was pretty good. They noted right away that the charge was erroneous because they could see on their inspection report that the car had a full tank of gas when returned. They refunded me without issue. But because they clearly already had documentation that showed the car was returned with a full tank, that made me question why the charge was added in the first place. The way it was all done made it feel like this is something they do routinely to get away with squeezing more money out of unsuspecting renters. It felt really shady.tldr; just be careful if renting from them, and thoroughly double check your receipts and charges.

Dirty and poorly maintained car – The vehicle I was given had spider webs throughout the interior, which is completely unacceptable for a rental that should have been cleaned and inspected before pickup.4. Dishonest about gas refill option - The representative I worked with, Theresa, added on the “prepaid gas option” without permission and then refused to take it off each subsequent time I asked, assuring me four separate times that this charge would mean that I didn’t have to fill the car’s gas tank upon returning it. I Each of the four times I specifically asked her to confirm that her adding this charge would mean I wouldn’t have to fill the car with gas before returning it, she lied and told me that that was correct. Based on this assurance, I prepaid $58.96. Yet I was later charged $80.22 as a surcharge for supposedly not returning the tank full.5. Ridiculous total charges – My original estimate was $340, but my final bill came to an outrageous $658.75. That’s nearly double, with no reasonable explanation.This company was dishonest, disorganized, and provided poor customer service. Between the wasted time, the bait-and-switch vehicle, the filthy condition of the car, and the surprise charges, I would strongly advise others to avoid renting from this location. While I can’t speak to every customer service representative at this location nd their honesty, Theresa continuously scammed me by adding extraneous and unnecessary charges, lying the whole time about “saving me money”. This experience was a disappointment from beginning to end, and I suggest not only avoiding this location to avoid being scammed and lied to, but avoid Theresa and her dubious practices specifically.

Got to the rental center, waited in a 5 to 10 minute line, paid for the rental, walked out to the garage, waited in another line for 5 min then got into a newish VW Atlas. Great vehicle. Got me around with no issues, no problem with the vehicle at all. Return was a fast and smooth process.
