Fox Car Rental Introduce
For travelers and residents across Nevada seeking cost-effective and diverse transportation options, Fox Car Rental serves as a key player in the Las Vegas car hire market. Located just off-site from the main airport consolidated rental center, this agency at 1340 W Pebble Rd offers a comprehensive fleet designed to meet various needs, from zippy economy cars for city navigation to spacious SUVs perfect for exploring the stunning landscapes of Southern Nevada, such as Red Rock Canyon or the Grand Canyon.
As a recognized Car rental agency, Fox is known for providing competitive pricing, often attracting customers who prioritize value when making their travel arrangements. Their extensive fleet typically includes a wide range of vehicle classes, such as:
- Economy and Compact Cars: Ideal for budget-conscious travelers and those needing efficient transportation for short trips.
- Standard and Full-Size Sedans: Providing more comfort and luggage capacity for families and business travelers.
- SUVs (Compact, Midsize, and Full-Size): Necessary for Nevada adventures or group travel, offering increased space and, in some cases, all-wheel drive capabilities.
- Vans and Minivans: Essential for larger groups or families requiring maximum passenger and luggage capacity.
- Luxury and Convertibles: For those looking to enjoy the Las Vegas strip with added style and flair under the open desert sky.
The operational model utilizes a dedicated off-airport facility, which is often a method to provide more favorable rates to customers. However, customers should be aware that this requires utilizing a shuttle service from the main airport rental center, which adds an extra step to the pick-up and drop-off process. Given the customer feedback suggesting potential service delays and issues with billing, prospective renters are strongly advised to meticulously document their vehicle's condition and fuel level both at pick-up and drop-off. Keeping clear photo evidence and reviewing the contract terms—especially those regarding fuel, fees, and charges—is essential for a smooth rental experience with this particular vendor.
The Fox Car Rental location in Las Vegas is conveniently situated to serve customers arriving via air travel, although it is an off-airport facility requiring an additional shuttle transfer.
Address: 1340 W Pebble Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89123, USA. This location is positioned south of the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and is easily accessible from the main airport consolidated rental car center.
Access from LAS Airport: Customers arriving at the airport must first take the official Harry Reid Car Rental Shuttle Bus to the Consolidated Rental Car Center. From there, they must exit the center and board a dedicated Fox Rent A Car shuttle for the final, shorter ride to the 1340 W Pebble Rd facility. This two-step shuttle process can contribute to longer-than-expected waiting and transit times, as noted by customer feedback. The facility's 24-hour operation (though shuttle service is typically limited to business hours—please confirm directly) is an advantage for late arrivals or early departures.
Accessibility Features: The facility demonstrates a commitment to serving all community members by providing necessary accessibility provisions.
- The location features a Wheelchair accessible entrance, ensuring smooth entry and exit for all customers, particularly those with mobility concerns.
- Designated Wheelchair accessible parking lot spaces are available, simplifying the process of picking up or dropping off a rental vehicle.
Fox Car Rental provides a standard array of services typical of a major Car rental agency, focused on volume and value.
- Comprehensive Vehicle Classes: Offering a broad fleet spectrum, including economy, compact, intermediate, full-size, SUVs, minivans, and specialty vehicles like convertibles and luxury cars.
- Airport Access with Shuttle Service: Providing a necessary shuttle service from the Consolidated Rental Car Center to the off-airport 1340 W Pebble Rd location for customers arriving at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).
- Flexible Rental Terms: Supporting various rental durations, from short daily hires to extended, long-term rentals (typically up to 30 days before requiring a contract renewal).
- Credit Card Payments: The agency accepts major Credit cards for both payment and necessary security deposits (pre-authorization).
- Optional Extras: Offering additional services like GPS navigation systems, child safety seats (infant, child, and booster), and coverage options such as Damage Waiver (DW) and Extended Protection (EP).
- Additional Drivers: Policies are in place to allow for additional authorized drivers, often subject to a daily fee, who must meet all age and license requirements.
Key aspects of choosing Fox Car Rental include its value proposition and fleet diversity, though customers should be mindful of reported customer service challenges.
- Competitive Pricing Focus: Fox is highly competitive on pricing, often positioning itself as one of the more budget-friendly options in the high-demand Las Vegas market, which is a significant draw for cost-conscious renters.
- Extensive Fleet Variety: The agency maintains a diverse fleet allowing customers to choose almost any type of vehicle needed for their Nevada journey, from efficient urban transportation to rugged options for desert exploration.
- Accessibility Provisions: The commitment to physical accessibility with a Wheelchair accessible entrance and dedicated parking lot spaces ensures the service is available to a wider segment of the community.
- 24/7 Operation (Facility): The main facility generally operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, accommodating arrivals and returns at any time (though customers must confirm the dedicated shuttle's operating hours).
- Off-Airport Location Advantage: While requiring an extra shuttle ride, the off-airport location often means the facility is less crowded and possibly easier to navigate than the main consolidated center once the initial long transfer is complete.

Fox Car Rental is primarily worth choosing for the local Nevada user or traveler whose top priority is securing a car at the most aggressive price point. The agency’s reputation is built on offering discount car rental services, which can be a substantial saving, especially during peak travel periods in Las Vegas. The expansive vehicle selection, ranging from economical compacts to larger SUVs and luxury models, ensures that almost any transportation need can be met. This variety, coupled with the ability to pay using Credit cards, provides the essential flexibility required for modern travel.
However, the decision to rent from Fox must be approached with informed caution, given the recurring and severe customer feedback regarding billing disputes, particularly the "fuel scam" allegations, and service quality. Renters who choose this option must be prepared to conduct thorough, documented inspections of the vehicle's fuel level, mileage, and condition at both pick-up and drop-off, retaining all paperwork and photo evidence to contest any potential erroneous charges. The multi-step shuttle process from Harry Reid International Airport also means that the overall time from landing to getting into your rental car will be significantly longer than with companies located directly within the Consolidated Rental Car Center.
In summary, choose Fox Car Rental if you are an experienced renter who is disciplined about documentation and requires the lowest possible rate. For those who prioritize speed, seamless customer service, and absolute clarity in billing without the need to actively monitor against questionable charges, other agencies may offer a more comfortable, albeit potentially more expensive, experience. For accessibility, the Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot are definite advantages, making the physical premises easy to navigate for all customers.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolutely the Worst Rental Experience – Avoid at All CostsThis was by far the most frustrating and outrageous rental experience I’ve ever had. I rented a vehicle from FOX Rent A Car at Las Vegas Airport, and I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT rent from this company. Not unless you enjoy being overcharged, ignored, and treated like an inconvenience.Let’s talk about the fuel scam. I returned the car with MORE fuel than I received it with. At pickup, the car had 422 miles to empty. I drove less than 40 miles and filled up the tank before returning it. At drop-off, the car showed 455 miles to empty — meaning I added fuel. And yet, these people had the audacity to charge me $58.36 for gas, claiming I returned it with “less than full.” Seriously? How is it even possible that a car magically has more fuel at return but I’m still charged for not filling it? They flat-out ignored the photo evidence showing the dashboard and fuel level. When I contacted their customer service, the responses were rude, robotic, and dismissive. They kept repeating that “the contract says full tank” and refused to even acknowledge the evidence I provided. Zero accountability. Zero logic. Just corporate gaslighting and theft, plain and simple. The staff at the Las Vegas location were unfriendly, unhelpful, and condescending. It felt like they were doing me a favor just to talk to me. I’ve rented cars all over the world and have never had to deal with this level of disrespect and dishonesty. If you value your time, your money, and your sanity, STAY FAR AWAY FROM FOX RENT A CAR. There are plenty of other rental agencies that won’t try to scam you over $60 worth of imaginary fuel. I will never rent from them again — and I’ll be telling everyone I know to do the same.
May 08 · Chad HShame to whole Las Vegas for outdated and unpleasant car rent service. Long lines from terminal to get on a shuttle. Long shuttle run. For the Fox, Europcar it took more than three hours from terminal to car
October 18 · Yulia OvchinnikovaOrder and pre paid on expedia for standard size suv ,got the option only for mid-size suv. Was sent to the row I guess nr 5 or 6 to choose the vehicle where there was nothing to choose from. A minute later an obnoxious rude latin girl pulls up with a mid-size suv which upon check had like 57k miles and almost bold tires, she says that I got to take this one. Im like I paid for standard size and I need a safe vehicle, not like beaten up with tires that needs to be changed. So I went to front desk, waited again for 15min or so to find out I can only take what they have and if I want standard size I need to pay another $20 a day more, After all I had to wait almost 2 hrs to finally get a decent nissan rouge with 41k miles and decent tires. All experience was terrible and I feel cheated prepaying on expedia for it, never again. In their defense front desk people were nice, the outside latin girl parking cars from the car wash, obnoxious and rude
September 27 · marky markwaited in line for 1.5h just to hear that they don’t want to accept my State ID or DL (real ID) (it was accepted at the airport few hours before, no problems there).Kristin didn’t care about our situation. Couldn’t help to transfer my reservation to my husband’s name or to book a new car…So we went to ACE on the same plaza to rent a car (they had no lines, air conditioning and friendly staff)do NOT book with Fox
May 31 · TaniaThey refused to release the car upon arrival for the reason that I did not have a flight back and they are unable to charge debit cards. Worst car rental experience so far.
