No upgrades or extras offered at desk, like transponder or insurance. discovered smoke smell, garage worker offered a "spray", but did not make any effort to put a note in computer. Car was only 1/2 fueled, had over 48k miles, and was in an accident within previous month, most damage noted in a very long list of damages. Workers not at desk had to wait, didn't let me out of unlit garage, had to wait. After I got the car into the sun, discovered the damage from that June '25 accident, but having prepaid, I didn't want to renegotiate price for a new car. When I returned the car, again no one at the desk, I pointed out prior damage to garage staff, returning it in same condition, saying "fix this before you rent it out". They said I created a NEW dent from that accident weeks before my rental! Never rent from here. They will rent out a damaged car in an unlit garage, then when you notice the damage, charge you for it.

It went downhill from there.They didn't have the standard SUV I reserved. Instead of the complimentary upgrade you'd expect from any other company, they tried to charge me double for a premium model. Their excuse was that the "system wouldn't allow" a free upgrade. When I asked to speak to a manager to resolve it, they refused to get one. So not only do they refuse to help, they refuse to let you speak to someone who can.They also refused to call another branch for me, telling me to drive to the airport myself on a wild goose chase. The van I was forced to take was covered in scratches and pen marks, and even had a tyre pressure warning light on, which is simply unsafe.This branch is a masterclass in how not to treat a customer. Avoid at all costs.

She was able to get me through my pre-paid rental agreement swiftly, and when there was an issue with the car I was picking up, she promptly solved the issue; providing me with an upgrade at no extra cost nor delay. I would definitely consider Sixt if you are traveling through Logan Airport and are fine with sacrificing proximity to the airport in exchange for fair rental pricing.

August 29 · Diana ArcasI showed up a day early for my trip, i tried getting in contact with this office, left a message, did not receive a return correspondence, i showed up to the office and was informed that there were no available vehicles on a Monday. I returned the next day and got my rental, the young lady was great. The reason for my 1 star is that i left my Apple Watch in the rental, i have reached out multiple times to the customer service line because apparently the office is always too busy to answer their phone, messages were left for the office to contact me. It has been 2 weeks and i still have not received correspondence from this office.
