They also would not give a refund. It took 3 weeks to get a partial refund (approximately 75% of what I paid). Please save yourself the headache and book with another company.
October 09 · SHOLA AYODELEWorst customer service ever! I accidentally left my cellphone in our rental and have been trying to get it back. It was left in plan sight and when last time I could ping the location it still showed there at the location we left the car. You can't get anyone to answer the phone and when you go to their website it will say sorry we can't load that page. I was finally able to talk to a person over 24 hours later who helped me fill out a lost item report. After 36 hours I was able to talk to someone via chat and I was told they haven't clean our rental yet so my phone hasn't been found. Sorry, but I don't buy that after 36 hours that car hasn't been clean yet. We are now over the 48 hour mark and still my phone hasn't been found. I guess one of their employees got a nice new phone! I was told by the first person I talked to the first time to call the airport lost and found and while they were very helpful they said that they can't even get dollar to answer their phones or talk to them. They said that there is never anyone there at the desk to help. I just want my phone back or for them to pay the $250 insurance claim so I can replace my phone. If you have another option to rent DO IT!!!!! you'll be sorry if you don't.

April 15 · Scott SchlonskiDollar Car Rental line at Rochester International Airport in NY. Rental counter closed and directed us to the Hertz line. Two people working the counter - insane. Never again will I use them. If you like waiting in long lines for well over two hours, have it. We pre-paid and checked in on line - why I’m not sure as that saved us nothing. Zero efficiencies here. If I could leave a zero rating I would. Notice the canned response to these negative reviews saying they will notify local management…. Clearly, local management doesn’t care to actually fix the problem.
