April 21 · Lokelani RiveraUPDATEDrive Sally has repeatedly ignored my request for clear documentation to be approved to drive for Lyft . I was notified by Lyft that my insurance was expired and asked to take a clearer picture of the registration. I was told multiple times by Drive Sally that was the only picture they have of the registration. That was a Lyft problem. I called and asked, I asked in person. And several time through text messages. I’ve been driving DoorDash to supplement the income from driving Lyft in my spare time to try and earn enough for the rental until I can figure something out or at least have the time to find the right person to ask that can truly help. It’s hard to earn $465 dollars when you’re barely making $60 a day from DoorDash. Ive been paying for the car with the check from my job. But I’m not earning like I should be. So all my bills are behind. I’ve asked by call. I’ve asked at the office. I reached out to Drive Sally early this morning after I was pulled over by the police for a headlight being out for the second time in a 60 day rental history. When the police asked for license, insurance and registration, the only thing that came back clear was my license. The insurance was not active and the police couldn’t get a clear view of the registration from the picture on the drive Sally app. They apologized of course and offered to repossess the car as my prize. They have been trying to get me to change my negative review from before and I never could do it. I’m renting this vehicle so that I can drive Rideshare and earn some extra real money. I’m so upset I allowed this company to show me who they truly are again. All I needed was a clearer picture of the registration. That’s it.The cars are nice.The customer service is awful. I don’t like texting as a form of communication for business. $300 deposit and $400 a week I should be able to reach someone during business hours at least. was told at 9:30am pay or be repossessed. I texted back hey I’m at my local location. Talked to the young lady about what was going on she said it should be alright but I had to text and ask to speak to someone.I spent from 9:45 to now 5pm trying to call and speak to someone. I get a rude text every few hours but no one will speak to me.Last week I tried to return the car and once I talked on the phone to a person it was all good we can work with you so you don’t have to return the car. I’ve tried to return the car twice both times told we can work it out but now my car is deactivated and contract canceled one minute then the next minute I’m told I need to just pay.Everyone is on a different page and the customers have to pay for it.
