Enterprise Rent-A-Car Introduce
For visitors and residents of the Golden State, personal mobility is not a luxury—it is a necessity. Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana, CA, represents a major gateway to reliable transportation for anyone looking to navigate the diverse landscape of Southern California. Enterprise, a globally recognized leader in the car rental sector, holds a strong reputation, particularly in the local "home city" market, and is perennially ranked high for overall customer satisfaction. The SNA location is strategically placed to serve both incoming air travelers and Orange County locals needing a vehicle for business, leisure, or as an insurance replacement.
This particular branch stands out for its stated identity as a women-owned business, adding a unique and locally focused dimension to its service profile. Located at a major regional airport, it caters to the strong demand for both short-term rentals, which dominate the market, and a diverse range of vehicle types. While economy cars remain a popular and cost-effective choice, Enterprise maintains a wide-ranging fleet that includes everything from fuel-efficient sedans to spacious SUVs and passenger vans, accommodating everything from a quick trip to the Anaheim Resort to a scenic coastal road adventure. Customer reviews frequently praise the location for its friendly staff, quick process, and consistent vehicle availability, contrasting with some common industry pain points like long wait times and unfulfilled reservations at other agencies.
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car facility is situated at one of Southern California's most convenient travel hubs, the John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana. This on-site placement ensures a minimal transition time from your flight to your rental car, which is a significant advantage for travelers.
The exact location details are:
- Address: 18601 Airport Way, Santa Ana, CA 92707, USA
The Enterprise counter is typically located on the Arrival (lower) Level of the terminal, often found directly across from the baggage claim area. Once the reservation is confirmed at the counter, the car lot is just a short, convenient walk away within the airport's parking structure (usually on Level 0 of Parking Structures A2 and B2, which houses all on-site rental car companies). This integrated system eliminates the need for external shuttle buses. Furthermore, the location is committed to ensuring a welcoming experience for all customers, providing a wheelchair accessible entrance and a dedicated wheelchair accessible parking lot.
The Enterprise location at John Wayne Airport functions as a full-service car rental agency with the capability of a van rental agency, providing specialized options for group travel and cargo needs. Core services and vehicle options include:
- Comprehensive Vehicle Fleet: Offers an extensive selection of cars, ranging from economy and full-size sedans to SUVs, minivans (seating up to 7), and specialized luxury/exotic cars.

- Onsite Services: All rental, pick-up, and return services are conducted directly on-site at the airport facility for maximum efficiency.
- Flexible Payment Options: Accepts major Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and modern NFC Mobile Payments for quick and easy transactions.
- Refueling Service Options: Customers are offered a choice for fuel payment: pre-pay for a full tank, have the agency refill it upon return (with a service charge), or refill it themselves to avoid extra fees.
Enterprise is known for its customer-centric approach, and the SNA location offers several key features that benefit the local community and travelers alike:
- Identifies as Women-Owned: Operating under a women-owned designation, this branch supports diversity and often brings a distinctive approach to customer care and community involvement.

- Enterprise Plus® Rewards: Members of this loyalty program can earn points on every qualifying rental dollar spent, which can be redeemed for free rental days on any available car, any day, with no blackout dates.
- High Customer Satisfaction: Public reviews consistently rate this location highly for professionalism, cleanliness of vehicles, and overall positive experience, often noting that staff are “super nice” and “very helpful.”
- After-Hours Return: While the counter has closing hours (typically late evening), the location offers an after-hours key drop service, allowing customers to return their vehicle outside of business hours by parking and placing the contract and keys in a secure drop box.

The decision to rent here is supported by several strong points:
- Proven Customer Service: The positive and factual reviews highlight the staff's professionalism and helpfulness, with one customer even calling it the “best car renting experience ever.” This suggests a strong commitment to customer satisfaction that minimizes the stress often associated with airport travel.
- Vehicle Assurance and Quality: Customers note that the location reliably has the reserved tier of vehicle available and that the fleet often includes well-maintained options, such as sought-after Japanese cars. The seamless pick-up and return process, located directly across from the terminal, enhances the overall travel experience.
- Commitment to Values: The dual focus on being a women-owned business and offering active military discounts demonstrates a commitment to community values and social responsibility, which many local users in California prioritize in their purchasing decisions.
For those valuing a hassle-free experience with transparent contract and billing practices, as confirmed by long-time customers who book through popular travel platforms, Enterprise at SNA is a highly recommended and reliable option for beginning any journey in Orange County and beyond.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Folks here have always been super nice and they always have the tier of vehicle that I reserve through Costco Travel. Never had an issue with my rental contract or billing. They have a decent sized fleet of Japanese cars if you are looking for that. This location will assign you what they currently have on hand, unlike some other locations where they let you walk down the row(s) and let you choose what you want. If you really want a specific car they will check their sister company if they have it ready if you ask nicely. I have tried saving a few bucks from neighboring rentals and they always have a line that takes forever to move or stories where they don't have any cars in their lot to rent out.
October 12 · Jonathan NguyenBest car renting experience everUnfortunately I don’t remember names but everyone who helped me out 8/19/2025 11am. I personally want to say it was best renting experience ever. I ve been renting cars all over the world and here was the best experience. I even want to give 10 stars if I could
July 22 · Märklín DTerrible Experience with Enterprise (July, August 2025)I was in a car accident on July 10, and my husband turned to Enterprise, believing it to be a reliable company that does honest business and provides proper service. Unfortunately, we experienced the complete opposite.First, we constantly had to come back and exchange cars, one after another. We originally had an Audi Q7 reserved, but we were given lower-class cars instead. On one occasion, when they did replace a Q7 with another Q7, the new car had several functions that did not work. This raises the question: how are these cars being checked before being rented out? And why should we have to pay for a vehicle that wasn’t even fully functional?Second, the prices kept changing without explanation. One manager gave us a rate of $60 per day, while another suddenly raised it to $110 for a Ford Explorer. It felt like everyone was just making up prices as they went along.Third, the service was chaotic. One manager tried to do his job properly, but others behaved unprofessionally, creating even more stress during an already difficult time after the accident. And now, after all this time, we’ve received an extra bill of more than $200, even though my husband had already paid everything upfront for a month and a half during the rental. Why should we have to pay extra again? It makes absolutely no sense.I am very disappointed and frustrated that such a big company like Enterprise allows itself to treat customers this way. I do not recommend this company, especially this location.
September 28 · Белла ДраганI’ve been renting cars with Enterprise/Alamo for years, and until now my experience was positive. Unfortunately, this John Wayne Airport location completely ruined that trust.I rented a car here for about a month and a half as a replacement after my accident. Everything was supposed to be fully paid and agreed upon. Nobody ever told me about “extra miles” or “extra time” charges. Yet now, long after I returned the car, I suddenly receive a bill for additional charges that were never explained or discussed. What’s even worse is that several times during my rental period, the staff told me “take this car, the price will stay the same.” But later, the invoice shows something completely different — higher charges than what was promised. This is misleading and feels dishonest. For a company I used to trust, this was shocking and very disappointing. Customers should never be surprised with hidden charges after the fact, especially when they are long-term renters and repeat customers.I strongly advise Enterprise to review how this location communicates with customers, because what happened to me is unacceptable.
September 28 · Volodymyr DraganJust picked up my rental. Great service at the front desk. Upon getting to my destination I noticed the rear right blinker isn’t working. Called roadside as this is a safety issue. Their only recommendation was to bring the car all the way back for an exchange. They don’t offer roadside assistance for things like this. I could probably just go switch out a new bulb on my own, just don’t have the time. Huge inconvenience, and zero hospitality beyond the initial rental transaction. Note to Enterprise…check your cars before you rent them out to ensure all safety features are functioning. At the very least check brake/blinker lights.
