And I think the dude and the girl working the counter was Manuel and Zoey, they both gave me misinformation about properly switching out the rental for the one I wanted which resulted in me having to pay more. I ask a million question before handing anyone my money so it was very disappointing when they wouldn’t honor what they said when I tried to swap out for another vehicle. Now I’m stuck paying for something I didn’t want because their words gave me the impression it would be a seamless vehicle swap at no extra charge. Which wasn’t true.(Updated for Enterprise’s reply) Enterprise, I’m not going to jump through extra hops when your team gave the horrible experience. If you want to make this right then reach out to give that “customer care” you talk about in your marketing. Show us customers if you really do care.
September 24 · Gabriel RamosI have rented from this location on many occasions. In the past they’ve always delivered a solid rental. This time however, I was helped by a representative that elevated my rental experience. It started off pretty normal but upon getting on the highway the car exhibited a shake. I brought the car back and the staff was very helpful in finding me a replacement. I would like to thank Nina in particular for the extra care she put in to assuring my next car was clean and safe. This was the start to a 900 mile roadtrip and a safe car helped to make the drive much more enjoyable.EDIT: I just had an addition rental at this location (8/4/25). The highlight this tome was the vehicle return. This office has a 5 mile radius policy for pick up and drop offs. My home was 5.3 miles away, so I asked to be dropped off at a nearby address and I’d walk the remaining distance. To my surprise, the courtesy driver (Matt) insisted that he bring me the entire way home. It was hot out and Matt went above and beyond, even if the distance was only an extra 0.3 miles. I really appreciated the customer service excellence in his gesture.
August 07 · Hungry WillUpdate 04-2024: I replied to the response (email) left by Enterprise and a customer service rep replied back that they would be escalating this issue to "upper management". Only time, and future customer reviews, will tell if Enterprise is actually paying attention to its customers and improving its service.I've rented from other Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches in the past with no problems, but that wasn't the case this time around.I rented the car online and picked up the car about 30 min before the branch closed at the Chino Hills Enterprise branch.Although they told me the inside of the car had been cleaned, it simply wasn't. This was evident by the empty potato chip bags found under the seat and smears on the dashboard and windows. Also, the outside of the car had not been washed. We were told they were understaffed and gave us a code to take it through a local gas station car wash. It was also at 3/4 of a tank full.We took it to the gas station to fill it up and wash it, but when I opened the gas compartment, the gas cap was missing. I couldn't take the car back because the branch had already closed, so I spent the next few hours talking to various Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches/representatives, of which none could help or provide us with a gas cap. These are the Enterprise reps we spoke with and what the outcome was:- Roadside assistance told us they were only a vendor and could not deliver a gas cap.- Customer service told us they would email the closed branch and that an open branch would see that email and call us, which never occurred.- Reservation service told us if we purchased the cap, they would note in our contract, but could not switch out the car. The only option would have to be to switch it out at another branch. They provided us with a number to the Ontario branch, which was the closest Enterprise branch open at that time.- We called the Ontario branch numerous times, but they never answered the phone.We needed the car for an early trip the next morning, so we took another hour locating a replacement gas cap and cleaned the car properly.When we returned the car, we were reimbursed for the gas cap and having to clean the car ourselves. While appreciated, we wouldn't have had to go through all that trouble if the car was properly prepared prior to our arrival.While Enterprise reps were friendly, it appears they were moving too quickly to notice things like missing gas caps or maintain cleanliness. Also, it seems there is a lack of communication with the organization itself.
