There were three families all on hold for around 30 minutes trying to get a hold of them. Once they finally came the service was pretty good. My rental car rep was Shaun. He did a great job getting me into a car that fit my needs. He was extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. Got me out in a timely manner with no issues. The manager on duty was also making sure that the customers in line were doing ok. I would recommend ace rental minus the shuttle service.

First, it's not communicated where to pick up your rental.(You need to call them to arrange for the shuttle. Then you need to go to the "Hotel Shuttle", this stop P4 off the "AirTrain" train shuttle used by the airport) This could add 20 minutes or more depending on traffic, or double that if you just missed the shuttle.)Then you need to wait on line at the office. It could take 10 to 20 mins for each person at the counter.Keep in mind they require insurance.If booking through a site like priceline, the drop off time may be very wrong for you. In my case the return time was 8 in the morning when flight back was not till 7 pm.So. You should add an extra half an hour to your schedule for initial pickup or even the return trip to airport.The people were good.The car not so much. The fob didn't work, I think the battery needs to be changed. I was locked out for a little bit, then remembered you can pop open the little panel by the door to use the manual key. It's possible to snap the pieces that secure the panel, while doing so. The body of my rental had gaps between the front quarter panels. The tech was also older and had trouble connecting with my phone, even with a USB cable. This added a few minutes to every ride.The car shock while driving. It displayed 11% remaining oil life. And the tire air pressure wasn't even.I got the impression the agency doesn't maintain the cars or shuttle well.The Shuttle had broken seat belts. You could get stuck in the front middle seat. The release for it is broken - visibly cracked.

October 05 · MELBRI MELBRIIt’s not that I don’t believe the bad reviews but I had a great experience. I presented my credit card, ID and verified my insurance. The process took no longer than 5 min total. They gave me the keys to the car provided the info I needed and done. Easy process. Returning the vehicle was a very pleasant experience. Location is across the airport not at the airport so I needed a shuttle service that departs every 10-15 min. Very friendly driver. Every thing was great!
