Enterprise Rent-A-Car Introduce
For many residents of the Inland Empire, **Enterprise Rent-A-Car** is a familiar name, often relied upon when a personal vehicle is in the shop or when travel plans require an extra set of wheels. The branch located on Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside, CA, serves as a key local resource for both short-term rentals and specialized vehicle needs, such as larger vans. This location, like the Enterprise brand globally, aims to provide a wide range of mobility solutions, from economy cars for city errands to SUVs and passenger vans for family trips or business operations across California. As a company that has expanded its focus from "home city" rentals to a broader market, this neighborhood branch remains an important service provider for the local Riverside community, including the areas near Cal Baptist University and Jurupa Valley.
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch is conveniently situated in the West Riverside area, easily accessible from major local thoroughfares. This neighborhood location offers an alternative to the busy airport counters, making it a preferred choice for residents who need a replacement vehicle or an additional car for a local journey. The physical address is as follows:
**6200 Van Buren Boulevard STE 103, Riverside, CA 92503, USA**
The facility is located within a strip mall setting, which provides ample parking for customer pick-ups and returns. This location's accessibility is a notable feature, ensuring the rental process is straightforward for all customers. Crucially, the branch provides:**
- **Wheelchair Accessible Entrance:** Facilitating easy entry and exit for all customers.
- **Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lot:** Dedicated parking spaces ensure convenience for customers with mobility considerations.
Customers should note that, typical of many neighborhood rental agencies, after-hours drop-off service is generally **not available** at this location, meaning vehicles must be returned during established business hours to ensure a completed transaction and avoid potential complications.
This Enterprise location is categorized as both a Car Rental Agency and a Van Rental Agency, providing a diverse fleet to cover various transportation requirements across Southern California. They offer the foundational services expected of a major rental provider, with a variety of ways to streamline the rental experience:
- **Comprehensive Vehicle Fleet:** While specific inventory fluctuates, the branch is equipped to offer a range of vehicle classes, typically including compact cars, SUVs, and dedicated van rentals (such as minivans and full-size passenger vans). This makes them a suitable choice for both individual and group needs.
- **Dedicated Van Rental Services:** As a dedicated van rental agency, they often maintain inventory suitable for moving goods or transporting large groups, a crucial service for local events, team travel, or family trips exploring nearby destinations like San Diego or Los Angeles.
- **Multiple Payment Options:** The agency supports modern and traditional payment methods, including **Credit Cards**, **Debit Cards**, and **NFC Mobile Payments**, offering flexibility to the renter.
- **Insurance and Protection Products:** Standard offerings include various protection products such as the optional Damage Waiver (DW), which waives or reduces the renter's financial responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle, subject to the rental agreement's terms. Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) is also often available.
- **Rewards Program Participation:** Renters can utilize the Enterprise Plus® program, which allows members to earn points redeemable for free rental days, providing added value for frequent customers.
Beyond the standard offerings, the Enterprise Van Buren Blvd branch has a few distinctive features that appeal to the local California community:
- **Identifies as Women-Owned:** This designation may appeal to customers who prioritize supporting diverse business ownership within the community.
- **Active Military Discounts:** The location offers special rates and discounts for **Active Military** personnel. Enterprise, as a national brand, provides discounted leisure rates to active-duty military, veterans, and government employees, often including a 5% discount off base rates for Government Leisure Travel. Renters should inquire about specific eligibility requirements and bring proper military identification or official orders to secure these beneficial rates.
- **Neighborhood Convenience:** Located off the major freeways in a local business center, the branch is a convenient "home city" option for those who need a rental while their own vehicle is undergoing maintenance at a local body shop or dealership.
- **Direct Billing for Insurance Claims:** Enterprise is well-known for partnering with a vast network of insurance companies and body shops, often facilitating direct billing for replacement rentals, which streamlines the process for customers dealing with vehicle repairs after an accident.
For reservations, inquiries, or assistance with a current rental, customers can reach the Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch on Van Buren Boulevard using the following contact information. When calling, it is always best to be prepared with your reservation details to ensure the quickest service.
**Address:** 6200 Van Buren Boulevard STE 103, Riverside, CA 92503, USA

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch on Van Buren Blvd offers a valuable service to the Riverside community, especially for those seeking the dependability and brand recognition of a major national company combined with the convenience of a neighborhood location. The women-owned status and the availability of active military discounts are significant benefits that make this location particularly attractive to certain segments of the local population.
However, prospective renters, especially those in California where safety and time efficiency are paramount, should be aware of critical concerns highlighted in recent customer experiences. Accounts from customers suggest that the service quality and vehicle reliability at this specific location have, at times, fallen short of the high standards expected from a leading national brand. Specific issues noted include:
- **Vehicle Safety and Maintenance Concerns:** One customer reported being given a vehicle with a known tire issue and a subsequent replacement that suffered a catastrophic, safety-related malfunction on the freeway, leading to a dangerous roadside stranding. Enterprise's legal responsibility, in cases of accidents caused by negligent maintenance or renting a defective vehicle, may make this a serious point of concern for customers.
- **Inventory and Reservation Fulfillment:** Another account details a failure to honor a reserved Elite Series vehicle, even when confirmed in advance and paid for with loyalty points. The customer was allegedly offered a downgrade or a lengthy wait time, with an employee attempting to shift blame for the lapse in inventory management onto the customer's slightly late arrival. This highlights potential inconsistency in honoring reservations for high-demand vehicles.
- **Customer Service and Accountability:** In the event of a crisis, a key concern noted was the manager's handling of the emergency (transferring to roadside assistance instead of providing immediate, on-the-spot support) and the lack of proper, non-monetary follow-up or a sincere apology after a dangerous incident.
When choosing this location, it is worth remembering the benefits: the convenience of a local branch, the available military discounts, the accessibility features, and the reliable national network for roadside support. Nevertheless, it is strongly advised that all customers, before departing the lot, take extra time to perform a thorough and rigorous inspection of the assigned vehicle—checking tires, safety systems, and all functional components—especially when renting specialty vehicles or luxury models. Confirming vehicle availability well in advance of the reservation time, and having a backup plan, is also prudent given past customer reports of inventory issues. By maintaining vigilance and documenting the condition of the vehicle and any service interactions, customers can best utilize the features and services of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Van Buren Blvd while proactively mitigating the risks associated with the reported service and safety deficiencies.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Enterprise put my wife and me in serious danger twice and then brushed it off with a $100 credit. On August 13 while my car was in the body shop, I rented a Tesla Model Y from the Riverside Enterprise. The manager admitted the only Tesla available had tire issues but reassured me after checking with another branch that this one was good to go. After waiting over 45 minutes the car finally arrived. Within days I discovered the car was leaking air so badly that I had to constantly refill the tires just to keep driving it.On August 16 I called to report the issue. The same manager told me not to worry and said he had a brand new Model Y with no problems. I swapped cars, only to have this so called safe vehicle malfunction almost immediately after leaving the lot. While driving home on the freeway, the car suddenly went haywire. The emergency blinkers came on by themselves, loud alarms blared nonstop, multiple error messages flashed across the screen, and then the accelerator pedal went limp. I had no choice but to coast onto the shoulder of a busy freeway where my wife and I were stranded for nearly two hours as cars sped past. When I called the manager during this emergency, instead of offering real help he transferred me to roadside assistance. After the tow truck arrived I was instructed to follow the car back, but because the Riverside location had closed I was sent to the Ontario Airport branch. There, management told me they had negative inventory and acted like they could not provide a replacement. After another hour and a half of waiting I finally left with a vehicle that was a clear downgrade from what I had paid for. When my wife returned that car the Riverside manager offered nothing more than $100 off the booking and promised to follow up with me personally. No call ever came. No real apology. No accountability.Enterprise gave me not one but two unsafe vehicles within three days, knowingly put us at risk on a busy freeway, wasted hours of our time, and then treated the entire ordeal like a minor inconvenience. Customers deserve safe cars and responsible management. We got neither.
August 21 · Rogelio QuinonezI have used this rental service for several years and they used to be amazing, but things have gone downhill since the recent change in staff.I reserved an Elite Series car months in advance and even got a confirmation call two days before reminding me to bring a credit card — everything seemed fine. However, when I arrived, there were no cars available except for two basic models. My reservation was for 12pm and I arrived a little after 12:30pm.The young man at the counter told me that the car meant for me had a cracked windshield, then tried to offer me a “free upgrade” if I took the cheaper rental — which makes no sense. I politely refused, explaining that I wanted the car I had reserved and used my loyalty points for. He said they might have a car in three hours. I reminded him that he had two and a half hours, and his response was unbelievable — he blamed me for not calling ahead to say I’d be 30 minutes late, implying that was the reason he didn’t have my car ready. At that point, I left and went to Ontario Airport, where I got the exact car I wanted within 30 minutes. It’s frustrating to see this trend among some rental companies — trying to downgrade customers to cheaper cars while charging the same price, assuming you’ll just take what’s available out of desperation. I won’t be returning to this location again.
October 17 · Kathleen HubbellI only came to the enterprise because it was through and insurance claim. absolutely horrible. not 1 not 2 but 3 cars i went through a toyota rav with electrical issues making the radio freak out and the dash go crazy ( plus i waited 2 hours for this car to be brought and cleaned. and i was very very patient) come back the give me a hyundai tuscan and right before i leave they try to give the same car to another woman after i had almost crashed because the radio and dash scared me. manger didn’t care sat there and tested the car and had a smirk on his face. as i get ready to leave with the tuscan i saw that it had air bag light on. so again i brought it back and as soon as i walk in IMMEDIATELY tells me that they have a 4 runner for me. i take the 4 runner and the breaks were extremely squeaky and once it was time for me to bring back the car i find out that it was over due for maintenance. and the substitute manager who was at the front desk was way nicer than the actual BRANCH MANAGER. i also called corporate about the situation but DO NOT COME TO THIS ENTERPRISE!!!!
October 05 · KatelynI had a great experience at this Enterprise Rent-A-Car location! Mena was the only employee at the branch when I arrived, but you wouldn’t have known it—he handled everything quickly and professionally. The service was fast, smooth, and efficient from start to finish. Mena greeted us as we entered although he was helping other customers, he was knowledgeable, and made the whole process stress-free. It’s not often you see someone manage everything solo with such ease. Highly recommend this location and big thanks to Mena for the outstanding service!
